I had to make sure the saber was securely connected and hit the switch about two or three time before it would work properly. It seemed the more I switched it on and off the better it worked!

Jennifer in CS told me to press the button and then wait 15 minutes. I tried that a couple of times, then wiped a little paint from the metal connectors, then blew into them, then pressed the button again and again and again...
I tried the batteries it came with, then I swapped them out, then I tried the plug. Gah!
They tell me that I can at least keep my #13 if they have to switch it out....
