I wasn't a wait list conversion so I don't think its a return and I got the piece pretty soon after they shipped so no real change this was a return.

Gohastings and Game Stop.

I've never heard of Gohastings before. But I don't shop at Gamestop unless there is no choice. I remember looking for a game once and they were all gutted / opened. The cover put on display. I asked the price at they quoted the new price. I said no it's opened. They said the game and paperwork were put in a bag. I said no. I don't play that game.

if they do not resell damaged/flawed statues (hopefully at least attempting to fix the flaw) why ask for them back at all? Why not have customers destroy 100% of flawed statues rather than pay the shipping cost (more $$ down the drain) to send them back?

I don't get Sideshow's break the statue policy for some and not others. I thought it was for International or people on the east coast and perhaps Midwest. I've never had a problem with Sideshow so far.

But I have seen nicked statues up for order. Sideshow has painters in office. I wonder why these statues aren't made perfect and sold as in house touched up statues?

Well, my second lightsaber hand is on its way to me. I hope it works and fits nicely. Such a beautiful statue, I'm really glad I got her, but I don't feel like she's really here yet because of this issue. I won't really feel like she's mine until she works!

no star wars EU characters? How do you do it? Isn't shaak a ot characters from episode 1? Or you mean only the first 3 original movies? if so then no darth maul, young obi wan, padme? I would have such a hard time not buying Aayla, shaak, talon, Grevious, malgus, and if Mara jade, and Shan! I love the OT but weird how I have none of the pf from that era.

Yes!! Apparently, they do this at more locations than I thought. That's a real shady way to do business.
I've never bought a single thing from Game Stop again since I learned they were doing this. That was about 9 years ago.

They probably do it at all the locations. I only went to Gamestop a few years back because I was looking for a limited game that was I think sold out everywhere online or I didn't trust Amazon or some other company to get it to me in mint condition because of the cardboard box. I know the game was starting to go for a premium. I called just about every Gamestop in my area, they had the game "new" but opened.

Before that I hadn't been in a Gamestop since the PS2 launch days. I clearly remember them trying to pass off a "new" launch title that was opened on a customer. The customer said they wanted a new copy and the counter guy actually tried to explain that what he was giving her was "new" just opened for display game. Crazy right? Luckily she was a pretty strong customer and said no to that nonsense. But I bet Gamestop gets away with that a lot.

Anyway, back to Shaak Ti. Looks like only the scalpers have her on eBay now. Curious about a real auction price. It won't take long now for her to reach grail pricing. Maybe in a few months.

I definitely think she will increase like Darth Talon. Maybe not quite as high, but pretty close. Glad I was able to get her at a normal price. She won't be leaving my collection.
