Its not the boxes, its the styrofoam. I had the brilliant idea for a millisecond the other day that I would just break the boxes down to store them flat, doh, the foam.

So SS screwed me on a replacement for mine. Considering sending it back even though its an ex. Has a paint rub on the back. Anyone with an EX looking to unload near cost or has this already spiked 1000% in value?

EDIT: So here is my issue, paint rub on the back. I figure its near impossible to color match. They are offering 25 back or 30 off another piece. I dont plan to display with the Starkiller saber but you know that pieces like this are very hard to move if need be.

Curious what you all think.

I had not bought a Sideshow statue in years. When C3PO and R2 went up for PO, I ordered them and figured that was it for SW PFs. Then Aayla Secura and Shaak Ti came out and got my attention. Once I saw pics of the recently released Darth Malgus PF, I was hooked. I bought Shaak TI and received her tonight. Sideshow is really crushing it with all the SW releases lately. I really love the look of the new lightsaber technology.

Sideshow, please make only Jedi and Sith PFs from now on. Thank you.

A lot of people say Sideshow does this. But I think if it really happens a lot Sideshow would have lawsuits or BBB cases calling them out on this. You can't sell something that has been opened by another customer as new. Limited statue or not. Once it's opened and considered damaged or a return. That's not a new piece anymore. And it should be in a discounted area on Sideshow's site or noted if they are selling it. I've seen them sell slightly damaged stuff before in the newsletter.

if they do not resell damaged/flawed statues (hopefully at least attempting to fix the flaw) why ask for them back at all? Why not have customers destroy 100% of flawed statues rather than pay the shipping cost (more $$ down the drain) to send them back?
