Tossed up my own video too! One of the first times I've ever gotten a video up within a couple days of getting a statue, Sideshow killed it with this one. Great sculpt and paint for sure.

Between Shaak TI and Darth Malgus, Sideshow has revitalized my interest in the SW PF line.

Just got mine yesterday. Not ashamed to say best Jedi but I still think Talon's sculpt is better. Her portrait radiates arrogance and disdain as well as beauty and the overall sculpt has somewhat more expression and purpose than Shaak Ti's FOR ME ie it really tells a story. I course realise that's my opinion and of course have NO argument with people having an opposite opinion. Art is after all very subjective.

The only thing that is annoying me is the lightsabre switch. It is very temperamental. It needs repeated presses to switch the sabre on. My recently acquired Green Lantern PF has the same problem and not sure whether its a fault, the switch technology used or just a bad batch. UPDATE the switch gets better with use both on GL and this piece...No idea why

Worrying in regard to electrical faults and resale for both PFs of course.

Talon looks much better in the person then any pics. She's still so modern and so well detail and sexy looking. The pics of talon looks ok. But trust me in person it's a entire different statue. I love both can't even decide which one I like better between talon and Shaak. So it's a tie at this time. Still the only advantage is Shaak is done by mark Newman and the new saber tech. So oh well it's best to get both of them! I know I've said this before but SS if your reading this come on give us all a new ventress PF in her fighting suit!

I agree with you. Talon looks much better in person. That is true for all pf's tho. I have all of them so I know and shaak will arrive in 2 weeks. I like photos and videos of shaak displayed with other pf's to hold me over until then. I want to do a display like this one I viewed on the shadow and flame forum.

Definitely ventress is my 3rd favourite Star Wars character after shaak ti and talon but her PF just doesn't do it for me, like you said fighting suit is the way to go, perhaps tattered from battle for those T&A fanboys.

Feels like the material used with ACE bandages for sports injuries.

After close inspection I'm 99.99% sure it is part of the mold & not a spertate mixed media application. I'm under the assumption that they wrapped that stuff on her original sculpt then just casted it & it came out very lifelike.
Look under her foot where that wrap should be & if I remember correctly there is nothing there. Proving to me it's just part of her original sculpt.
