A matter of time. Malice will get his PF Ringwraith, and hopefully I'll get the Boromir in Gondorian Armor PF I've been asking for on the Sideshow website threads.

I know what your saying; if it were up to me there would be an entire Weathertop...err.."top" complete with statues, ruins and the other hobbits. I tend to think big like that but I've learned to temper my expectations concerning really elaborate pieces.

I would have loved this but keep in mind.......to keep the Ringwraiths big enough to appreciate, the thing would be huge and closer to $1k.

I bet if SS gave us a choice before making the piece:

A) More Weathertop backdrop with smaller "cartoonish" Wraiths

or

B) As it is today

it would be unanimously for the way it is now.

Remember in the Gandolf / Rog dio people saying he is "cartoonish"? That is due in part to the inability to work appreciable detail at a smaller scale. I think they had a choice to make and made the right one.

I am a huge fan of the dio line, but I am very disappointed in the base or more acurately the lack thereof. I was hoping for something more along the lines of the helms deep dio, something more to show of weathertop, not five wraiths floating on a dirty iceberg.

Frodo looks awesome and the wraiths do look very cool and menacing, but there's certainly nothing here unique enough to warrant the price or display space. Oh well.

I don't think so at all; the lack of any substantial envio leaves a bit to be a desired - esp considering the price.

Yea the price is a bit steep
