I wish it looked like the new 52. The film looks like a tv movie or like it was filmed by Kevin Smith. That shot of Billy walking and turning into Shazam is the most underwhelming thing I've seen in a while....just some smoke, and the guy in the cheap suit walks out with his skinny legs on a wide shot that isn't very flattering?
G Zeus!!

Thor in Ragnarok and IW looks and feels more like Shazam. IMO, SZ's transformation should be more cinematic, more epic, have lightning ...basically, He Man's transformation in Master of the Universe. The film looks cheap, filled with tons of clichés and obvious jokes. Both the Aquaman and Shazam trailers have the same school bullies....just like in Man of Steel. :lol They're not even trying anymore.

red pilled and based.

DC, take the chance to make this CW Shazam, please! It looks great, for the CW.

And hire John Cena for the DCEU reboot.

Another movie to look forward to seeing. Do hope it's not too much kids stuff and humor. Some action and crazy magic would be nice.

Not even worth watching the trailer.. i already wasted enough life typing this

Doesn't look terrible! Could be fun. I'm willing to give DC another chance here. Don't disappoint me, WB...or else!

I think they are aiming for a stranger things type feel. I am ok with something different it doesn't have to break the billion dollar mark just be a fun family audience movie.

Not to defend the design choices for the suit, but I can’t imagine they’d give a Shazam movie a huge budget. If this one does well I could see him getting a better suit in the sequel where he fights The Rock.

Weird how a movie that takes place during Christmastime is releasing in April. :lol

Seems like this isn't a muscle suit. From what I can tell the dude has been working hard the past year.

Back in February, he said he was 220, and Hemsworth was 235 when he was Thor, so it's definitely possible for Levi to big enough by now

I'm sure we all remember Chris Pratt going from fat schlub to shredded in short order for GOTG.

I was surprised by how much I liked this!
It's tone I think is different than the comics, this lacks some seriousness, but I liked what I saw. It looks fun.

Not even the new 52 Shazam comics are that serious, by standard Cap Marvel is even sillier than this trailer.

He's a walking golden age.

He's a walking golden age.

The only Capt. Marvel comic series I read was Kingdom Come where they turned him into a villain so I'll take your word on it. I think all golden age books were silly and Capt. Marvel even more so with the Marvel family, so this possibly connects with that tone more than modern versions. Still looks fun and understands what fans want in a Superhero movie.

So what's going on with his boots? In the Entertainment weekly pics he's wearing different boots....and in the trailer, he's got the old boots again.

I don't see any recent pics, but there's videos of him working out on Twitter and Instagram and he seems like he's got a good bit of muscle on him.
