Got my notification from SS that a replacement parking meter is on the way. They want me to destroy the other one when the new one shows up and take pics. Otherwise they'll charge me for the replacement. What would SS charge for a replacement parking meter I wonder?

I personally don't know why it has to be broken into pieces, flawed or not breaking anything especially related to these statues just feels wrong. Thank god I've not had to do that yet. That said, if that's what they want you to do Sam you might just want to do it so you don't get charged. Btw did they tell you how much they'd charge you? Just curious.

Well I think there could be other ways, such as shipping in the defective piece...breaking well would break my poor little heart. I understand the reasons something needs to be done though from SSC.

I think they ask anyone overseas to smash the statues if they are broken etc to save on the shipping back to them, i've had to smash a few things and it does indeed feel wrong.

ah I missed the overseas part. But yea it would still be a bit hurt about it...but if it means getting a replacement piece without issues, I would end up doing what I had to. Enjoy the replacement Sam.

I remember having to take a hammer to my 1:1 Darth Vader bust a few months ago and man did that take some effort to smash that into bits.

holy god they had you smash the entire 1:1...now that would take some serious alcohol to do. What were the defects?

No it was the chest area and the base, there was a paint rub on the silver part of his chest so i had to smash it before the sent me a new one. The new one was mint so it ended well at least.

Awesome...well congrats on getting a mint version afterwards. It's great that SSC is so good with quality issues.

Received my She Hulk today. Everything fit together perfectly. No problems with the paint quality. Looks amazing in person.

I hear you...it's just SO hard to really break any of these statues especially since most of us it has a link to our child hood. Defect or not telling me to smash any part of the statues I get would cause me to seriuosly have to think about it. Cheers to you having the will power to hold out.
