Should Hot Toys Re-Do the Aliens Warrior

I know a lot of people are against remaking figures, but I think an exception should be made in the case of the Aliens Warrior figure.

I bring this up because I just received a black alien warrior and brand new out of the package two parts of his right leg broke. I would really like to have a more screen accurate black alien that doesn't fall apart out of the package.

Just wanted to vent a little about my broken alien.

I thought the color was pretty bang on , maybe a little too bright if anything.

The leg issues otherwise wern't the only problem with mine , I opened it and it fell apart.
They could do with redoing it but I prefer the brown repaint anyway.

My opinion is this. I love that the paint job on the regular version captures the effects of the films lighting, not the suit's color but better shows how it came accross on screen, and the evil look to the face is just awesome, it's a nicely done figure. However, it is significantly innaccurrate, so if HT were to do a remake and do that with the purpose of being true to the creature's design from ALIEN and ALIENS (body was essentially the same, dome was a major difference) then I'd be all for it and buy one. If they did a new one, maybe just made it cooler but still inaccurrate, I'd chalk it up to being a greedy mood and not a service to loyal customers.

Why? They already did a decent job, I mean, so it had a few little problems, but, IMO, not enough to try and remake it.

Do you WANT to see my Alien? I had to repaint him black because his rubber was chipping, his foot fell off and was lost somewhere, his ARM fell off, his jaw tendons stick out all goofy, he just plain sucks. He sucks so much I forgot I own him. So NOT worth 150.....

I agree with you that the Aliens Warrior is the coolest looking of all of them. If he didn't have quality control problems I'd think he's awesome.

However, it kind of upsets me. First the foot broke and I said "okay, I can fix this" and in the process of gluing the foot on, the knee hinge broke. That was the last straw for me. He's pretty much unfixable now.

I think it's a piece of crap.
It looks nothin like the creature in the movie and falls apart if you look at it wrong.
Sure, if they make it better and more accurate, make a new one!

With all the quality issues for such an expensive piece, HELL YES they should remake it! I don't know too much about the accuracy (can't really get a good view of them in the movie anyway, right?), but I don't want to buy one for $100+ when so many people are saying parts break right out of the box. I'd love to have one but not when it's so prone to breakage.

The headsculpt is the best and most accurate of the lot, if I'm not mistaken. Its only the rest of the body that is inaccurate. They should remake it regardless, you can never have enough figures from that awesome movie as far as I'm concerned.

No the head is the wrong shape - particularly towards the back. Look at the accurate Aliens skull that came with the BD Predator 2 - thats how it should be shaped. The face is good IMO but with the back of its head shaped wrong, the inaccurate tail, perhaps other bodily inaccuracies Im not thinking of, and the worst quality control on any toy I've ever owned yes I'd like to see it remade.
