The clones are cool, the deluxe clones even more so. The bodies are the sore spot, even with one of the newer clones I reckon you have a fifty-sixty procent chance of getting one with a floppy body.

I don't find that any Sideshow bodies on current gen figures are floppy. YMMV. I've been through 4 bodies with the Hoth releases, Shiny Clone and most recently Scout Trooper. Even the body I got with SSC's Old Ben was solid. The Hoth and Ben bodies all have (c) 2008 stamped on them - never undressed the clone and haven't undressed the Scout either.

Thanks. I saw that BBTS still has the shiny clone in stock (<20), so I'm considering picking it up to go with Jango Fett.

Shiny clone with all the accessories is a steal at what current figures are going for. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you get one.

The latest I have are the deluxe 212th and the Echo & Fives phase one and those bodies are the same as all the rest as far as I can tell. I haven't dismantled them, but one of the deluxes can't stand without the crotch and is unable to hold his weapon in any other position than hanging straight down.

It was part of the deluxe clone line that included a veteran with weathering, 501st and a 212th.

Was there more than one release of a shiny clone?

No. I wish these were in stock longer than they were.
