Glad to see that some people on this forum have Bat-collections that go beyond 2005.

Mostly sold because of other interests. Still have some of it. Batcave Batmobile Batplane. A few figs too. I'll set it up and talke a couple pics.

No problem mate.

I just bought a replacement head for my DX09 a few weeks back as the PERS on mine broke too. I contacted HT four or five times and heard nothing from them at all so I finally just bought myself one.

Which was funny because I just recently removed the PERS joystick on my DX12 so that I could move the eyes independently.

Is your DX09 still in warranty?

Kinda. The head has been shipped to my dealer. If she won't be able to replace it - I'll get it back and will move eyes not paralleled, lol. Anyway, HotToys should be ashamed of their PERS system. This is one thing that should definitely be made of die-cast. But HT has no shame, we know it too well.

Yeah you have to be real careful with the PERS but having said that I was and it still broke so you are right, HT should improve on it for future releases.

Even without the head on Batman, that pose and cape look great. I've never really seen anyone utilize the Batarang with rope, you pulled it off nicely.

And yeah, don't expect a response from Hot Toys. They'll never get back to you. You're better off fixing the PERS yourself. I know when it comes to the DX 01, DX 02, DX 08, DX 09, DX 11 and DX 12, I move the eyes once out of the box, keep it in that PERS in the pose and never touch them again.

Sounds like good advise and to be honest I think I will be doing this from now on with my DX figures.

For such a big company HT's PR department sure does suck.

I ALWAYS open PERS heads in the very beginning and doing this wired mod to them. And I also dot on some vaseline on eyes before putting them back so they won't stick into plastic with some time. And it works great so far!



But this is what I got with Keaton. It was broken just from the box, so I wasn't able to fix it. They've messed it up while assembling.



DX 8 and 9 has extremely bad PERS. HotToys improved it after, made joints not so tiny. But before DX10 you get hell lots of problems with this crap.

That PERS damage is heart breaking.

Nice work buddy on helping the PERS system but I'm still recovering from removing my DX12 PERS joystick so to do that to all my DX figure would be nerve wrecking.

I have a custom cape from Tony and I'm waiting on one to come from Italy but I have never seen a mikede157 cape.

Definitely v.1, I got it just when it was in stock. It's little bit shorter, but I kinda like as it is.

V-raptor that is a great looking collection with some nice pieces like the RA's and other custom touches like the wire cape on the Dark Knight and the Harvey Dent photo with Bane. All add to a great collection mate.
