Super Freak
The scabs are more like peeling from a sun burn imo.
My GF a tatto artist I'll have to get her on here and take some pics. But as far as caring theres so many different opinions and everyone reacts different.
She says, take off bandage, wash it, let it dry for a day and then use Vaseline Intensive care.
What do the scabs look like guys and how long after the tattoo was done did they appear? Are they just like the scabs you get when you skin your knee only colored or are they different in another way? Just wondering... I am curious about what's to come.
How long does it take for the scabs to heal/fall off guys? Mine doesn't look or feel anything like a sunburn but I admit it has been forever since I have had a sunburn. It feels more bruised than anything else. It also feels a bit painful when I stretch a bit.... normal right?
I can't wait for my next. Although it's so much work. I have future plans for a 3/4 sleeve and a rib piece.
.....put lotion on the skin

You are definitely going to die.
Eventually. Maybe death by flaming Astronaut toilet seat from above. Who knows.

Wait times for a good artists- what's average?
Also, what is the average price per hour you guys are paying?
Wait times can vary from a a week or two to a month depending on where you go. The average cost per hour is usually around $100. However, it may also depend on the amount of colors and detail. Most places also charge a deposit for custom art that comes off of the final price. Also when getting a tatt you are not required to tip. However, tips are welcome if they do a good job. Most are just happy to hear that the piece looks awesome!
Good luck Rory!
P.S.
Also remember that the wait time is a good thing. It assures you that you are going to a desired artist and that they are taking their time with your art.
