Very nice! :clap That looks like a lot of fun, auto or manual?
When I went to the LA auto show last year I sat in that and the BRZ, basically everything I could without waiting forever.
Put a turbo in, get some track wheels a go race! :lol
Car hobby is still my favorite hobby, lots of headaches and frustration sometimes not to mention the cost but LOTS of fun. Congratulations.

Anyone who buys this car in auto has serious issues. :lol

It's a lot of fun. Kicked it around light all day. Never over 4000 rpms. Not until I get 1,000 miles. Got a few waves and head nods. Can't say I ever did in my Escape. :lol

Yeah a turbo would be amazing in this car. So long as it doesn't **** up the perfect balance.

The sales manager called me. I didn't do the ****** thing and send the guys boss's emails. I sent him an email that really took it to him in a polite and professional way. He in turn took it to his sales manager. I appreciate that. Nowing that he had to go in and fess up is pretty satisfying. The sales manager wants to make it rate and give me a crazy amount for my trade. A good bit over KBB value's excellent tier. He also let me know I would be working directly with him.

So I think I may do it. I could leave to prove a point but I'm only hurting my wallet. I'm not getting that deal anywhere else. I may ask for a meeting with his HR department as well. Us insurance salesman are always selling. :lol

Makes me wonder if the sales manager isn't the person the salesman was talking to about you in the first place.

It was a bunch of fun. I had a blast driving it around.. It go many looks.

The engine internals were forged, aluminum heads, it was estimated between 650-600 horse. It did take some getting used with the blower and the blind spot. The hardest part was driving around any curve. But nothing beats the sound and whine of the blower.

A blower does sound great. There ARE blowers that fit under the hood, though... The smaller one. You sure cant fit an 8-71 under most hoods, nor a 6-71. Gear drive? I'm not sure I would want a blower on a daily driver though, because of the constant added stress on all the engine parts, due to the increased pressure. A turbo an nitrous on the other hand I would like. ( I realize that only a blower gives instantaneous more power at low end and a turbo needs time to spool up, but then, that can spare the engine stress in regular driving. You only stress the engine when you push it with a turbo.

By the way, did the Mustang run on pump gas or no?
I have to believe the compression was a little high.

200 HP, rear wheel drive with a 6 speed manual sounds like a blast, and for under 30k. :duff
It looks really good, just take care of it and you'll have it for a good long time. Make sure you take your wife and kids out in it often so they can enjoy it too. :wink1:

200 hp a blast? Only if it weighs 1500 pounds or less.

200 is more than enough to have a good time in, if you throw a mod on then you're up even more and that car does not weight a hell of a lot.
Mate that with a 6 speed and rear wheel drive and your good to go.
Not everything needs to have huge numbers to move. It cost $ to get high HP #'s, and for something under 30k this is exactly what it needs to be.

Trust just about every reviewer on this one. The car is in fact a blast to drive. Heck I haven't even had it above 4,000 rpms for the most part and still had a blast. One of the best cars I have ever driven. If you love cars, do yourself a favor and take one out. :duff

Now I do agree, in order to make it fast, it needs about 40 to 60 more HP. But out of the box it's still great and is proving it can hang with the bigger engined cars on the track. Not that that matters to me.

Yep can't wait to take them out. :rock

If anyone wants to better understand this car and laugh their *** off watch this guy.

My car has 400 hp and weighs 3200 pounds. It has a rear wheel drive and a 4 speed manual, and it's AMERICAN. All my cars are American, because I am an American.

These cars were made for guys/gals to buy and go out and race it they want to.
I think the front & rear seats fold all the way down so you can fit 4 wheels (track wheels/tires) and go out and race.

Yup they fold down and supposedly can fit four track wheels and rubber. I can honestly say I will never see that day. :rotfl

:lol Yah, but it's cool to know you can do just that.

I know when it comes to transportation there are things one must consider: reliability, cost, cost of ownership, MPG, etc etc.. but sometimes real enthusiasm is what's lacking.

Or a wife that says no way Jose. :lol

Trust me the enthusiasm is what sold this car. I have been behind the wheel of some big powerful engines. They are fast and fun as hell. This is just different. I really can't explain it. The Irish guy in the video I posted does a way better job and makes you laugh doing it. It takes about 5 minutes until he gets going and starts talking about "gentleman vegetable stuff". :lol

No need to explain, I get it. I've had a number of vehicles and some of them big too. I had a 1979 Datsun 620 pickup a few years ago and at some point somebody put in a JDM 2L turbo diesel with a 5 speed. Loved the way it looked and the turbo was fun. I love my RR but like anything with a motor cuz it's all fun. Enjoy your new car and be safe. :duff

Will do. Thanks! Now I have to figure out this new driver salute thing. I've had a few kids give me a nod, a peace sign, and a wave, while passing. Not sure what they were saying. I'm getting old. :rotfl

:rock Nice. I'm so jealous. I wish my wife would get done with school already so I can get myself a new toy. I was thinking about getting a turbo kit for my car last night, but then balked at that idea for now.

I think I may sell what's left of my collectibles and see what I have.
