I'd like to support everything Chase has said in this post.Unfortunately, my english is not good enough to express all my opinions on what has happened lately (My primary language is french),but one thing for sure,as the original Krusader, and as the creator of this thread,let me tell you ,that the only thing I ever wanted to do with it, was to let people on this board and more importantly,Sideshow collectibles that there was indeed a market for a Medieval Kurgan.Then,Chase, who already workshiped the character,jump on board and we started having fun together and other freaks on this thread.I must tell you that I never had so much fun on a message board THAN WITH THIS THREAD. CHASE,JOSH,JOSEPH,JOHN,JAMIE AND DANNIE have all become guys I like a lot, and people I dare to call ''friends'' because of this thread.If you read the whole Krusader thread in its entirety (good luck..loll),you will see that there is a lot of creative stuff and stories in it.This is why, I find this Kurgan -hating very sad.All of us guys,are really, guys who love to laugh and with a very keen sense of humor.This is why, I cant believe people taking us so seriously (even comparing us to a cult or the kkk).The only thing serious about our ''Krusade'' was the fact that we were a bunch of Sideshow freaks who wanted to have a medieval kurgan made.And a lot, of freaks on this board embrace our thread.For all those who think our signature feels like spams or that our posts looks like were invading threads,why dont you just block (ignored option)our comments in your options?
After all, you know who we are.
I guess the old saying that these board are frequented by geeks and dweeb must be true....cause,admit it, only geeks couldnt find the genius and the humor of the F'N Medieval Krusaders !!!!

Shai, you miss the point. I consider everyone here a friend, and I don't block anyone's comments. Never have. I care about what everyone has to say. The banners are getting out of hand. And it's not just the Kurgans. I don't have a hate-on for the Kurgans. I believe I've said that about ten times now. Jesse hit the nail on the head. That was all I was saying. Nice to know a few people are listening to what I am ACTUALLY saying (even if they don't agree) instead of putting words in my mouth.

Too true! A number of members use the board to further their personal agendas and to advertise their services.

The Kurgans are obviously very passionate about their cause but, they are a rambunctious lot and their wildly boisterous enthusiasm can sometimes be a bit grating. We are all individuals with unique voices, but we are also all members of a community. The squeaky wheel may get the grease, but that doesn't necessarily mean the majority feel that way.

Not to derail, but the line isn't dead, just like any line is never dead. We are hopeful and believe that the Medieval/Origin Kurgan, at the very least, should be made. And in the mean time we have fun posting... anyway I'd think you'd be more empathetic after all the complaining that happened about your avatar?

I want to let you know that I was glad you made a comment about your stance on postings, and reminded how cool things are here on this board with the responses most everyone has been posting. The whole Krusader thing became like the little corner adverts on tv, after a while, I just ignored em..even though I would love to have an Origins Kurgan figure to go with my other Highlander toys.

I have been busy transitioning to a new job, and haven't had time to read/post here in a while, but this thread is a reminder how cool things are here, by and large. I am glad to know a bunch of folks who all collect and are passionate about some great toys/collectibles, and I look forward to checking out the boards everyday. I like that most everybody is pretty level-headed though, when people open discussions like this or confront another boardmember about behavior that bothers them. I also like that there are some folks like Dannie and Bodie that keep things from getting too serious all the time. I am pretty happy that this board is usually flame-free, and nice break from an otherwise busy and stressful time right now! Just glad that someone opened a discussion about something a little more sensitive than how long luke's arms look, and people responded without getting hot.

EDIT: It looks like I took too long to come up with my response, as things have taken a different turn then when I first posted!

True. Guilty. I post my custom stuff all the time. In my own thread, and in others. But you only see my pics posted where appropriate to the discussion. I don't come out of nowhere with them.

And thankyou Seaward. It's one of the reasons I like this board so much. There are few trolls, and the vast majority of us have conversational skills matched with intelligence.

The line lost alot of money and another figure will nto be made (paraphrasing of course). A topic like this is only going to lead to problems, if you don't like what people post then don't read it. Why do topics have to change if someone is sick of seeing it. I have seen the Krugan topics many times but never bothered to read them. Censorship and restrictions due to unhappy people is the worst thing that can happen to a great forum. Please people make topics only that I like.

I would just like to point out the above quote to those that do not read the Kurgan threads in the Sandbox. Because you ignore those threads and do not read them because they are not serious and have fun and what not. (Sorry for the ranting but well that is how this thread started)

Dr2red has seemed to have left the site, but in my very own opinion it is not because of people in the Krusade.
