Sick of Konquests, Surveys, and Petitions

A topic like this is only going to lead to problems, if you don't like what people post then don't read it. Why do topics have to change if someone is sick of seeing it. I have seen the Krugan topics many times but never bothered to read them. Censorship and restrictions due to unhappy people is the worst thing that can happen to a great forum. Please people make topics only that I like.

No NASEDO, make the topics to be what I like and all the posts to be in favor of my post and so on.

I think we can put this topic to bed. An opinion has been expressed. In the past I've let the Krusaders know how I feel about intentional derailing and terrorizing other threads and I trust that won't happen anymore.

I have no problem with multiple Kurgan threads as long as they are distinctive topics and are in the appropriate forum.

The Krusade banner in sigs conforms to the guidelines for sig images as set forth in the FAQ, so I have no problem with that.

So I say let it continue, but I would ask the Krusaders to keep it to the appropriate threads.

I deleted a post that was yet another attempt at derailment and all references to it. But I think Mikey was joking in his response.

And the gay dolphin thing is funny - so I have no problem with that...

Dave I wasn't trying to derail anything. I apologize if you thought I was attemting that. I was just responding to something that was already in the thread. I too think the gay dolphin thing is funny as well. I probably should have put a smiley in my post.

Folks have left boards because they haven't agreed with me so it does happen. Though I think D2 leaving makes more sense if she feels their is censorship on the board.

On another note someone did make a good point earlier about if you read something enough it gets old. I've had it told me me many times that folks get tired of reading all my posts because I post in a lot of threads. It's gonna happen. Nothing anyone can do about it. For me or the Kurgans I just say deal with it.

Dave doing a great job. He is letting things stay as long as things stay where they need to be.

If anyone else has a problem with it move on. Then there should be no problems.

I'm glad this discussion has reached a satisfactory conclusion. I think Dave can lock it up if he'd like.

But I want to address the issue of censorship once and for all.

I NEVER suggested anyone be censored, banned, deleted, or otherwise kicked in the arse for any reason.

I specifically called on everyone to govern THEMSELVES and be reasonable.

I am against censorship, banning, blocking, etc. because it stymies the freeflow of ideas.

Nor did I suggest that any threads were inappropriate. Scary, yes. But not inappropriate. This was never about me wandering into threads where a topic was being discussed that I didn't want to hear. It was ALWAYS about keeping those topics seperate and letting them co-exist peacefully without getting in each other's space.

I appreciate the numerous PMs I've received and i feel comfortable that we are all (well, most of us) on the same page. Thanks for justifying my faith that this forum was one of ideas instead of flamewars and rhetoric.
