the one thing I like about the old version is that its not stand with a stick up its rear. I really wish HT would have done this differently. This turns me off of it for this reason...Maybe I am just being picky though.

You can't possibly compare real chrome to chrome paint though, they only look kinda similar in photos, but in person real chrome is actually weighty and cold to the touch, that material is what really sells the 1:4 SSC Endoskeleton as well as all the 1:1 movie props IMO.

*edit* I checked the HT again and it's actually electroplated... hm.. but somehow it just doesn't give off the same feel as the 1:1 movie props, like it's actually made of metal, which the 1:4 SSC does well since SSC use the same method to do all their Endos. Really hard to tell about the HT one without looking it in person.. I'm leaning towards HT for the better overall sculpt IMO, but still prefer the SSC one for the material.

From what I remember, the 1:4 has articulation on the neck, shoulder, elbow, fingers, and waist. Basically you can pose him from the waist up.

Yeah I owned this piece and talk about a piece of crap. Especially the fingers.

Mine is getting customized, so piece of crap it ain't. My guy is making the fingers tighter. It's actually a great piece. Very heavy and sturdy. Only the fingers are frustrating, but that can be remedied. I am getting the entire piece repainted as we speak. Get it in a couple weeks.

I would love a 1/4 Endo to go with my T1 T800 PF.

Do you think that Sideshow will ever do a T1 1/4 scale Endo or do you think since they did a T2 they just won't bother?

Hmm not sure but I wish they would. Not sure if they still have a T1 license. What did they ever make just a PF from that one I think.
I picked up the old T2 one for retail plus shipping plus ebay fees so I was happy with that price. I'd get a T1 or T2 remake too though for a good future war scene
