got mine today, now im totally torn whether to get Elder , will SIdeshow make the city hunter for this line or just release the maquette,
i feel this line is done and elder represents predator 2
, might just have to get the predator 2 maq then skipping elder, but would be totally out of scale with other 3 then , sigh,

How were your dreads? Any paint issues?
As far as this line I think it is done, their promo material was just the 4. I have not heard anything about upcoming projects with this line.
I think with the lukewarm sales for some of these they won't revisit. I would think they would have better luck with a 1/6 staue line to match scale with the hot toys or start a 1/4 PF which is what everyone wants to happen(a least those of us who can't afford LSFs)
All 4 regular editions are still in stock at SS so they are not flying off the shelves, apart from the EX versions which are now all sold out. I have all of the set except the P1 due to the QC issues I keep hearing about.
TBH, im not picky about paint applications on the dreads or accuracy, at 1/5 scale , i dont think its realistic to get a perfectly painted dreadlocks
all i looked for was any damages ,
it wasnt painted perfectly but im not bothered about it,

It looks like yours are fine. Did you see the pic of my heads a page or two back? If I was super picky I would not buy these, the paint quality is never going to be close to perfect. When they mess up so bad like they do sometimes no way that is going to fly with me. They agree as they are sending a new head.
And I guess it is not limited to me as there was at least one other guy who had the same problem. I just don't understand why they can't hire people who can do quality control worth a darn. I would never let stuff like that slip out. I am 2/2 for my last 2 orders from SS for worse than acceptable defects. My lady death had a lot of problems and then the replacement piece they sent would not fit so it all had to go back. Hopefully they send a nice unmasked head and not one with nice dreds and a different problem.

Just a heads up, there is a EX on eBay for $350+30 ship opening bid Item 251310634968, that is a steal compared to the last few that sold on there. He has a $680 buy it now, but I think he forgot to put a reserve on so opening bid wins if you are not outbid.
Got my new head and it looks great. Dreds are better which is why I requested new one, but I am pleased to see that the mouth is better, teeth are better, eyes are better and it even sits tighter in the hole than the old one.

Bringing this thread back up from the dead! I went to see the new Star Trek movie today and I had a chance to look around a local movie memorabillia shop next to the multiplex. They occasionally sell SS and HT stuff and sometimes you may find long lost sold-out items at ridiculous prices, since actual collectors almost never go there. So today I spotted this (under a nice, thick layer of dust):
It looks ok (as in nothing obvious broken), but, where is the staff? Is it a separate piece that is inserted into Scar's hand? If so, what is that thing looking like a grip in his hand?
Btw the price is half of what is asked on eBay and with a little bartering (since this is a display item) I believe it can go lower than that. So yeah, I'm thinking of picking it up, mostly because I like the pose and because it looks a lot like the original Jungle Hunter (don't care for the AvP movies).
