Pre-ordered. Tamashii is too expensive.

If I can find some good audio files, I'm thinking of rigging up a base for this and the Sideshow R2 that will play some of the acerbic commentary from Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker about each other.

R2: "He never wants to have a drink with any of us. Once when I said hello to him he just turned his back on me and said, “Can’t you see I’m having a conversation?” It was the rudest thing anyone had ever done to me. I was furious."

3PO: "I haven’t seen him for years. His name is on the credits as a sort of… I don’t know, a good luck charm, a courtesy. He’s a talisman."

Nice pic from Star Wars Facebook. But... that's a scene I won't be able to recreate with my Sideshow 3PO. The severed arm was a pretty important no-show on this figure.:(

Yeah, that was a huge missed opportunity for a killer exclusive. It really wouldn't have add much to the cost of production, either.

I know its a cheap substitute but i bought the hasbro masterpiece 3po with backpack cheap i can use for the detached arm scene. All the 3po parts break off and again very cheap to find. I do agree it should've been included from sideshow. I was hoping for the landspeeder release this year maybe next year i hope. I'd say almost for sure we will get the landspeeder if were going to get a falcon cockpit n falcon dio cargo area and tie fighter possibly. It's just a matter who will make the landspeeder sideshow or hot toys ?

It's not INCLUDED and should've been the broken damaged arm. Doh :slap i did forget about the complete arm that come's off lol. sorry lol u got me.:lol

The severed arm definitely should have been included. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone do a 3D print of one, in the future.

By the way, that's the Kenny Baker version of R2, as you can see the tubing where his legs go.

I will admit, in this photo, 3P0 does have that "Now where the Hell did I leave that thing?" look going on.

&, yes, it would've been much better to have - at the VERY least - the wired stump bit, to stick into the arm (like the stump parts from Vader, Luke, & Mace figures). However (& we won't know till we get it), we could use the leftover arm.

Not sure why anyone needs a substitute -- when you put on the shoulder stump, won't you have the leftover detached arm from this SS figure?

If we were talking a 3 3/4" figure from the late 1990's, I'd agree with you.:lol

It has the shoulder attached and no visible wires.

^^^ - Yep, was going to say the same, yesterday, but was too lazy. Where's your thirst for screen accurate details, Wor-Gar? *grabs Wor's Nerd Club membership card and rips it up*

You guys lack imagination that Wor clearly has. A hammer will solve any issues with the stock arm having too much shoulder on it.
