I agree with you. Most likely for more toy/shirts/other crap to be produced. Hopefully there is a valid explanation given in TFA as to why he has a red arm.

Oh there's no doubt it's to sell more figures. I'm just saying within the context of what's happened to him in the films previously it's not a stretch to me to believe that something happened to him to cause him to need a replacement arm. Collectors go crazy about variant stuff like this and will buy whatever because it's a new look for the character.

Aren't we guaranteed a delay of some sort since we haven't seen any expected arrival type of notice? I feel like we've been getting a 4 week notice on most items lately.

Yeah I'd in no way be surprised if we don't get this until January. I believe the same happened with R2 last year. It seems like Sideshow takes a long time to get things out considering that they don't produce nearly as many figures as Hot Toys do.

It hasn't hit the shelves in Asia yet, so no way we're getting it on time. HK usually goes a month earlier than the rest of the world.
