Face looks great and has metallic shine! I like the grime on the legs. So far so good for a quick snap pic. Would like to see the EX arm and the regular arm popped out.

Looks okay from that picture. Still think the Tamashii looks nicer though. I'd like to see the wiring section closer and see how the figure articulates. The weathering looks decent enough.

The weathering on the lower legs is a bit iffy, same app technique as R2.

But the rest of it looks pretty good to me - neither pic (studio and box art) is especially good, and I think the figure will come up even better as more pics surface. Not good enough to pick this one up in addition to the one I've got though, which is a pity as I like a grimy 3PO.

Tamashii vs Sideshow will go on forever as a debate. My guess is, Tamashii IS better... if you want heft and real metal. If Sideshow is better in any way has yet to be seen, but it looks like proportions and weathering are its advantages. But again, we'll see.

All I know is, a friend told me if a Tamashii takes a shelf dive inside a detolf, say good bye to your shelves.
