I truly hope that Sideshow does not do a limited exclusive on Cody...the PPO would be a freakin madhouse. I will be needing at least two exclusives and two regulars of Cody myself. I promised my son one.

I just remembered something. They are doing the "Deluxe" treatment to this one. I assume that there is a lot of stuff that needs to be made for the figure. Maybe that is why it is taking so long.

I expect to see him at Comic Con. I know that would be about a year since the announcement. But, I think his release is a big deal and that is a big event.

Well, my impression of the Deluxe aspect was that it'd come with 3 heads and whatever weapons he uses over the course of Clone Wars and ROTS. I believe from the neck down, Cody's armor didn't change from CW to ROTS.

Nah, Cody's big, but if there was going to be an SDCC announcement, my money's on a Fett. I think Cody, if not announced at ToyFair will be announced before SDCC.
I could see Cody as a good reveal figure for C5, I don't think they'd waist his reveal on Toy Fair, he'd be a very impressive booth display piece, why show him off at a time where it's just online photos. Put him on display in a Sideshow booth and he's shine, maybe even with C5, put out ROTS Obi-Wan and the Utapau trooper just for show.

Anything's possible, i would have thought Emperor and throne would have been saved for a convention to grab attention like Jabba's throne and Thrawn's chair, but they just PPOed that, so we could see Cody at any time.

Cody for ToyFare with General Kenobi and the Utapau, Celebration with Rex, Anakin and 501st, leaving the mother of all reveals, Boba at SDCC with ESB Vader and a Bespin environment (borrowing Carbo Han from his Jabba wall) for a kickass ESB display with Lando.

If Cody's at Toy Fair it'll just be on the site, Sideshow stopped going physcially to Toy Fair. They might do a group image to promote him if he's not at C5 and/or SDCC.

Yes, I know, but we saw Vader, Antilles and the troopers in a diorama display. That's what I was inferring. Changed "at" to "for" to avoid confusion.

Then I'd say he's more likely to be at SDCC. First clone commander would be a nice showing at the Con.

Which would be perfect for Anakin, Rex and a 501st. SDCC's too big not to have Boba and ESB Vader. Plus it gives them a bit longer for Rex.
Which Anakin are you thinking AOTC?
