I like the stock rod, but for the sake of being thorough I just ordered some acrylic to see how it'll actually look.

I would jump on these while they are available, guys. Aside from using a $20.00 coupon to bring the price down a bit, I don't think that there is much hope of seeing these discounted further. It's an excellent piece, unlikely to be redone at this level of quality for a long, long time. You won't regret it!

Im keeping watch on a local dealers website. They currently have 5 in stock and its been that way for awhile. Hoping they might lower the price if they dont sell like theyve done on a few other pieces, fives and echo are availible for discount if you are a member at a certain level (bought alot) with that website.

:yess: Congrats, Aliaz! Let us know your thoughts, once in hand!

Now Pixelpiper stands alone! Just buy it and write it off as a business expense, Pix! :D

You know that the only savings from a business expense is a reduction in tax on the amount of the item "written off" right? And of course it would be a business expense because I'd be taking it apart and using it to prototype a new battery replacement kit as well as product photography - same as the Batman Armory. :)

Will do! Just checked their website and is seems that any order placed before the 22nd should arrive before christmas.

Had a bunch of comics on order (fables, hellboy) since I'm working on replacing the trade paper backs on my shelf with hardcover ones but went with this instead and canceled that order. Easier to get later and spread out those purchases.

Now to explain this to my girlfriend... Wont have any room to display it until we move and get a house in a year or so anyway so maybe that will delay the disscution :p

So what you're saying is...your destiny lies with this Probe Droid... :vader

Yes, I know that! That could be up to ~$75.00, which is a doggone good deal (anything less than that is also awesome *coughs*). Just break down and buy it, dammit! :lol

As long as the postal service doesnt screw up this will arrive tomorrow.

Read that assembly is required, anything to watch out for while putting this together?

Unfortunately I will only be unpacking it to bask in its glory and then putting it back in the Box and dream about the future house that will enable me to display it.

I'm in the same boat until I get my home office set-up properly. I took out the two body pieces to check out the paint and details, but didn't bother snapping the legs in since they are a bit delicate and I didn't want to assemble and then disassemble immediately. As far as I know, all the legs can be popped back out, but I wouldn't risk breaking it, personally.
