The head is a great sculpt but sadly too small for the hot toys body, Indy ends up looking pinheaded. I had mine painted and loved the look but the small size of the noggin bothered me so I went back and repainted and resculpted the fedora on the sidesjow sculpt

Picture above shows exactly what I'm talking about. While the sculpt is good, the head is a tad too small

Yea too small. I think most of their heads are the same way.

That smiling one is creepy.....

Like I said I like the sculpt and even had it on my figure for a couple of months. but the longer I looked at it it didn't look right, so I took them off and compared them side by side. You can see the WGP is far smaller than even the HT sculpt. Until I looked at these pictures again I had forgotten that it kinda has the giraffe neck look going on as well. I eventually went back and repainted and resculpted the fedora on the SS one and now I'm perfectly happy with it. I guess it really comes down to which you prefer and what your likes are

Great looking Indy. It's funny that the HT head was pretty small yet the HT gloved hands are like catcher's mitts in comparison.

They work with the larger SSC head though.

That custom head looks okay, but the mouth and jawline don't seem very HF. Does seem too small though, especially for a character that wears a big (and in 1/6 poofy) jacket.

Yeah as much as I keep staring at it, I can just never see much HF in that custom headsculpt.

I re watched this movie last night and I want this figure since the HT one came out before I was a collector. I seriously thought about getting a Dx05 and changing the head with a WPG hs. What you guys think should I go with a HT indy or waiting for this one?

HEAD SCULPTS - WARRIORS GATE PRODUCTIONS.

the WPG head scult is cool but Im gonna wait for SSC, to kit bash an indy figure will cost more or the same as buying the full Hot Toys figure. On Ebay the pants are $20, the jacket $40 maybe more. So I'll just wait, I hope this figure is in the $199 price range.

TTM 19 body weathered and sweat added with gloss coat
HT shirt, trousers, shoes, socks, satchel, belt repainted
SS belt and holster and moulded whip
HT Platoon machete
Sankara stone made from a pebble from garden

Overall, for an unofficial custom job it looks pretty good. Unfortunately, the head looks too big for the body and the hat sits too high for me. Nice repaint on the head and weathering to the body / clothes , though.

Compared to my stock Indys that looks fantastic and the size of the head and hat placement fade don't bother me when I compare it to what I have.
