There's never been an acceptable Indy figure unless you go the custom route. I've always wanted a Indy figure but each release got worst and worst. Was close to wanting to pick up the Hot Toys version but I just can't get over that Head Sculpt. Not sure if Sideshow will get this piece right in the production stage but if Plissken was a wreck than who knows. Proto for this looks fantastic.

Don't worry. They'll jack it up. Don't even ponder the thought of them pulling it off. They never do.

I'm selling both of my wgp sculpts. Still unpainted. Don't have the time for them.

I posted those wgp HS On OSR a couple of months ago and a lot of people said that they were small and not 1/6 scale. Anyone can confirm?

They are like the ht sculpt. About the same size.

I swear, if ss actually pulls this off (which they won't. SS hoth han shows a good sign), they will have achieved what so many haven't. Personally the accurate clothing, the best belts, the best of whatever doesn't really bother me. Jus give me a kickass sculpt, and I'll just slap it on the old ss ROTLA body. Good enough for me.

I do not think Plissken is the wreck he is made out to be. Likeness is still there. If the likeness remains with Indy, it will be a home run. Issue with Hoth is it doesn't seem to be pulling the likeness off (In SOME photos).

:exactly:

Snake also has a good eye. It's only about one millimetre high at it's most open. If they can do it on him there should have been no problem with doing the eyes better on other figures.

I much prefer the likeness on Sideshow's Snake to Hot Toys' DX05 Indy (who remains the least favourite of my Hot Toys).

I decided to wait and see in hand pictures. Too many misses from Sideshow lately. When these were way cheaper, I would PO and just see how it turned out. Now, it is too expensive. I don't trust SSC to be consistent with production pieces. Long gone are the days of PO sell outs in one to two hours anyway.

I would have waited too, but I don't want to miss out on the glowing Sankara Stones. I ordered with the $20 coupon so that helped with the price. I was lucky enough to get my order in before they instituted the NRD.

The Indy figures have a bad habit of sticking around, so chances are there will be plenty available, but maybe just not the ex.
