^ Indy looks like he's about to cry...
Well someone beat him up pretty bad. It hurts.

So let's see, we have people saying this sculpt looks like Mark Wahlberg, David Duchovny, Eric Bana, and I think someone said George Clooney once. Did I miss any others?

This one still looks like Ford to me, but really the strongest likeness for me is at that 3/4 angle. Straight on it loses some of the likeness a bit. Not sure I've seen a good profile pic yet.

a little crude but i think with just a reshaping of the eyebrows he looks pretty good. harrison always has that eyebrows going up in between his eyes thing. seems no one gives him that pretty big characteristic. anyways. i thought it stopped him from looking like mark wahlberg lol

Indy is sad because everyone else got something cool. All he got was a rock.

The figure looks much better in those pics. Shame the pants have the rip in the knee, because they look really nice.

Yep, it's the hat that is the main culprit... but I think if the head were a bit larger it would also have balanced out the hat and worked better with the very thick neck of the body they are using. As it is the neck looks like the head is not quite big enough for the neck or hat which looks odd.

The sculpt does look better here, I'm guessing with the normal hat shadows you get more of the right look for Indy.

Aside from the likeness and obviously enhanced lighting, it looks like they either enlarged or moved the head down in that shot. The line under the jawline looks like quickie photoshopping.

A few things pop out to me.

1. The blade has no shine
2. Again his right eye...??!!
3. How come his face is old and young at the same time? He got this john voight grandma mouth going on yet he also seems young. This is not ford.
4. The body....why not a rubber chest?

I assume the torso is rubber... looks like the Drake or Plissken body and those are all rubber. I agree about the eye, straight on it looks bad, but at angles it seems okay. Hopefully just a trick of the light :huh

I pulled the plug on this figure. Chatted with a rep she cancel it and im getting full refund on the flexpays because of the delays.

Horrible headsculpt and the bag strap looks really crappy too. The only way to get a decent Indy is to build a custom figure using either the Inigou or MJ Choi sculpt. No-one else has even come close to capturing Ford's likeness.

It annoys me that SSC never tries to make better bodies to challenge HT :slap
Actually, these newer bodies, that they've been doing variations of since DRAKE, are very nice (imo). They have a more natural physic than the TTM19. I'd just suggest that they bring the rubber torso down over the mid-section a bit and re-tool the rubber waste, so it doesn't get caught by the abdomen from time to time.

Ugh, this is getting the chop-soon. Thankfully when I PO'd early this it didn't have an NRD. I will wait for in-hand, un-doctored pictures to surface before I completely discount this offering.

Fool me once SS, shame on me, fool me multiple times "well Rene I've got to be going now..."

Nice quote, but wrong movie. Maybe this will work..
Lets get out of here...Yeah... all of US!

TOD lid was much smaller and a completely different bash from Raiders. This lid looks silly and even too big for Raiders. Sideshow is not even trying. They have no QC with their factory. This should never have been approved for production. Canceled day 1 preorder with no deposit. The prototype was promising, this is not. Just another Sideshow let down.

It is strange indeed how much the final piece ended up resembling the DX05 sculpt. There is just too much wrong with it. The hat is way too huge...but even if you fixed that, the head is definitely too undersized for the body.

The other thing that bugs me are the muddy colors used on the piece. He looks lifeless. He definitely had a more saturated tan in the film. Here's a before and after, but even then I don't think this one is salvageable. The head is just too "off."

- Made the head larger
- Made the cheeks less wide
- Made the hat smaller
- Added more saturation to his overall skin tone
- Titled the brow slightly
- Lightened his eyes...

Even then...it's just not him.
