Sideshow 1/6 Jawa Figure Set

I'm sure people will sell the parts on ebay. I'm waiting for blaster, hands and all the extras. Possibly the eyes could be fixed with cloth tape or epoxy....and I could just throw my robes over them?

I really like the hands, ion blaster and ammo pouches and extras of these figures. would love to get a shot at replacing robes and fixing the light up eyes. They are too big on these Jawa's.

Here are some of my customs. I tried to make them ANH accurate and get the appropriate size. These stand at just the right height against my R2 and C3PO. I'm thinking of making some more, just to try and improve on the various body sized.

I caved in and got Sandtrooper on PO, and I have been going back n forth on picking up Jawas or not. Thought they would look great next to Sandtrooper and I have been looking at SS older release of Tusken Raider on eBay. Do you think HT would ever make Jawas and Tusken?

I doubt Hot Toys will do Jawas or Tusken Raiders unless they're in one of the new films. Even then I don't know if I'd count on them being done. I'll probably get the Sideshow Jawas set for that reason and they'll be cool to set up with a Tatooine display. Wouldn't mind finding a Tusken or two but don't want to pay a lot for one really.

Sure people are going to sell parts on eBay but with the inflation of prices and ebay's 10% cut on final cost do you really want to go this route?

Thanks for your help! In fact your response has made my decision easier. I always liked the Tatooine scenes the best in OT ANH. Picking up Jawas! The after market prices for Tusken is pretty steep, but I'm going to continue on looking for a good deal. That's the fun part, isn't it?

Too bad. I've already used that code. The price point may be too high but you know what? In my mindset, there is not enough Jawas to go around in this hobby to buy in the aftermarkets. I am OK with getting them while I can.

I read this thread last night and decided to use the code and get these guys. With the arrival of all the HT characters my SideShow Cantina is in full holiday swing. I had to get these guys. I still have my fingers crossed that we will one day get a Walrus Man.

Jawas will look great with the Cantina environment. Some of my favorite shots in the prototype photo shoot were around/in the cantina.
