Interesting this was received by koolkollectibles weeks ago - yet doesn't seem to have shipped to anyone else. Weird.

Does anyone else have theirs in-hand though? Maybe kool got his as a freebie early review figure or something. Just seems like his shipped weeks ago and nobody else's did. I thought we'd see the deluge of in-hand pics back then there was kind of nothing. :dunno

LOL!! The day I get figures for free from Sideshow will be a day long remembered!! I preordered and paid for mine like a lot of other Aussie collectors.

As I said in a previous post, Sideshow changed it at least a year ago so that many figures sent to Australia are sent directly from their Hong Kong warehouse. That means the stock doesnt have to go all the way from HK, to the USA, then back across the Pacific to Australia! It's much more efficient for them to just ship it to Australia directly from HK. So sometimes we just get things a lot earlier since USA residents need to wait for their container of stock to arrive in the USA, whereas we dont.

The shipping from HK to Aust is usually only about $10 more (nearly $20 vs $30) than from Sideshow in CA to most locations in the U.S. I'm betting a lot of U.S. collectors would pay that extra $10 to get the figure something like 3 weeks earlier direct from HK.

Got mine just now. They are pretty cool in person. Very loose joints though, and with those cheap stands any bump or shake will make 'em drop. Sucks there's no wire in the clothes, but I can fix that. Overall pretty happy with them.

Ugh! Are you serious... The second person to post pictures and they received a Jawa that doesn't light up? Sorry to hear your luck, that must've been a bit of a let down. SSC should be ashamed of themselves.

Thanks for posting photos. I'm sure you'll get a replacement. Good luck.

I already have a replacement on the way :)

Lord, I'd like to see your Boba figure posing, it looks cool! did you take the wire from the ROTJ cape and wrap it mythos style? Looks great! I'd like to see your sarlacc pose too, sorry to derail.. but I love me some fett!

BACK on topic, I think I'll tuck most of that fur back, it's cool they have furry hands, but it just doesn't look cool with a large lump of pubic hair dangling out of their sleeves lollllzzzz

Thanks for your comment ! I am a Fett lover too. I have done my own cape for him, but possibly I will replace it for a different one eventually. For more pictures you can visit my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/lordsixthcustoms/

Ugh. Flop alert! If ever some figures needed stands it's these guys. Looks like I'll be eBaying a few in the near future.

I appreciate Sideshow going the extra mile and including the furry arm pieces, but as I never ever noticed them on any Jawa before, I'm slipping mine off (they are pieces of fur attached to the arm via a circlet of elastic).

Now I gotta figure out the pouch on the tall Jawa. It looks like one of the metal pegs that attach to the pouch wasn't glued and I want to be sure to glue it properly.

These are nice but far from a home run.

Jawas today! Putting these guys together is somewhat of a chore, but once you futz around, they look really good. The bodies are a little loose and as Lord Sixth said, they are very, very difficult to get to stay up on the stand. Kneeling them on the stand is pretty easy though which makes for some great poses. The hands come off a bit too easy and don't hold the accessories very well. That being said, be mindful of the "hair inserts" - they can come off of the elastic pretty easy and because the hands come off with minimal effort, these hairy inserts come off too. The hoods are separate and the box comes with instructions on two different ways to wrap them. I wrapped them using option #2. The light up eyes are a great touch and not to hard to access with the hoods on. When I first opened the box, I was a little dismayed by the fabric but upon more close inspection and playing around, I like it. Overall, I like these guys and they are a welcome addition to my collection.

Nice review and photos.
Unfortunately it has convinced me that I have to pass on these guys because I can already tell I will have buyers remorse when I open the box due to the fabric choice on those robes (dammit). I was leaning that way but was waiting for in-hand pictures and your well futzed, well lit, in-focus pictures show me what I needed to see.
