I like the shorter skinny Jawa the best at this poor. Can you pose the larger Jawa with the same hood style as the smaller so we can see a variation?

They really knocked it out of the park on the accessories.

Might give that a go a bit later. Have them in the cabinet now and a little lazy to get out again to pose lol

If anyone wants a robe for their SS Jawas let me know ASAP, placing orders today or tomorrow if time is needed. PM me for details.

Yes, the legs aren't much good at supporting the torso on these, and as Khai at KoolKollectibles has said, every time you make an adjustment , you need to re-adjust something else because it's all shifted.
Got mine a few days ago, but only kept the taller one - added some photos here - I'm no photographer, and had to resort to a flash - but you'll see the weathering, which seems more apparent under flash lighting than normal conditions. It's on the cuffs and hemline.

Also I redressed it, so the bandoliers are covering the tentacles to try and lose them. In case there are people on here who don't want to customize the robes, there is a way round the tentacles - sure it's a compromise.

I'm quite tempted to order a robe from Solo_bones as I prefer the fabric he's selected. I have to think about it. TALL JAWA 01.jpg

Nice FLASH pics. :lol

I think they look pretty good.

Thanks - it was a grey miserable day here in the UK - and so the flash it was - on intermittent 50% flutter (I don't know what the tech term is), so some of the natural daylight was preserved.
I should have waited for better light really.

I'm not unhappy with the figure at all, but I can see room for improvement. A shame the changes from prototype to final retail release are usually for the worse from SSC. It feels like cost-cutting in terms of the Jawa fabric chosen, ultimately. The robes were a bit disappointing at first, but it actually does a pretty good job... until you see a better option like those custom ones.

T2_1991_LD, you did a great job in hiding the hood tentacles there!! I thought about doing something similar, but since they lie against their back, you cant really see them on display the way I have them facing the front. So I just wrapped them around and let them hang there as per the instructions lol.

Nice of you to say so, Khai - thanks. Yeah I could have left them hanging there like a couple of worms, but I knew it would bother me. Just knowing they were there was enough incentive to do some off menu (non-instructions) futzing. I do like the fact that for people who use the light up feature, it's easy access because the hoods are not attached - just lift them up at the back to flip the switch.

I haven't taken the batteries out yet; I'm like you and don't like electronic features. As an aside, does R5-D4 have any light up features - out of curiosity?

If I get a replacement robe, it will be for my Jabba Throne set up. The Jawa looks too alike in the fabric dept for placement next to Bib Fortuna in the SSC robe - they're all in very similar brown colours. A redder custom shade would look more distinct and create a better visual separation - I'll take some more pictures later, to show what I mean. They are also standing on that dark brown suede skin, underneath Jabba.

If I go for single figure display then I keep the standard robe.

I'm placing an order for robes today if you want to get in. PM me for details.

Thanks for the lightning fast message! I'm the most indecisive collector on the planet and have to make my mind up...
I will PM you for more details.

Cool to see you're in Hawaii - I've not been there for 26 years!

The more I mess around with these Jawas, the more I like them! All the great posers and futzers out there are going to have a lot of fun with these little guys.

Cool picture, but I just don't see the perfect Jawas.

No weathering, face/eyes don't even resemble the pic above. Factor in the price..... will be passing. If I actually had a Tusken Raider and R5 I would be more tempted to get these guys. Hopefully they see a discount.
