I see no reason why should SSC price this beyond 200 They can easily recoup R&D cost with reproduction of the countless astromech droids models.

Same. I'll buy a kenner 3PO and customize it before spending $400 plus on a single fig. The price creep in this hobby has skyrocketed the last 4 years. They're gonna have to be careful, or they'll start pricing themselves out of business.
