Whenever I turned mine upside down the life scanner just opened up on it's own. That one doesn't click in place, does it?

Not the opening of the hatch but the popping up and holding of the scanner itself that's the problem.

All my hatches work fine and close flush. I have to say, the only issues I have on mine is 1) the lower blue arm swings out loose if tilted forward, and 2) the life scanner won't hold its position when fully extended.

When something is fully extended, it should hold position. :)

Hey, no one but no one is more anti-commie than me (I've had relatives who spent much of their lives living under communism) so I'm not laughing but I'm interested to know whether either Sideshow or Hot Toys use factories that are sweatshops or whether they're contractually obliged to ensure working conditions are humane.

We're used to Sideshow products arriving with missing parts, I hope that's not the case with the workers who make them.

Actually i have my suspicions that Hot toys may have a hand in sideshow's constant QC problems. they are after all centrally operated in china. you know the old saying keep your friends close and your enemies i mean competitors closer. Im sure if things are made in china for an american company it's deliberately altered to make that company look bad and reduce business.Something sideshow should do an internal investigation (hush hush) type. I think sideshow needs to send a plant over(aka spy)to watch over there lively-hood for insurance and make sure to buy some life insurance on them too because they know there never seeing them again lol.

I feel obliged to say "that's what she said" :(

Okay, then my life scanner is fine. I found that when turned a certain way it remained upright.

Got the head off!!!

Right how many of the lenses light up? Only the one on the front lights up. One on top and back does not.

I had the same issue too.....at first. However they will stay up.....if you GENTLY pull them up into place. It feels like you wwill break them but if you pull straight up....they will snug into place

Friction-fit isn't much of an engineering challenge. It's a little disappointing they didn't implement something a little more bullet-proof for all the doodads.

Just got mine in. Did a quick look over and all appears good to go. Have to go and hit tennis with my daughter and will get back and check it out further. All this talk about fragile had me getting very concerned. You all must have gorilla hands, because yes things probably can break, but I don't feel as though it is overly fragile. The lights are great though as I did have to check them out before heading out.

I tried to pull as firmly as I was willing. Perhaps I need to tug harder. :D

Yes, sorry I was responding to issues people were having about the scanner and para scope not staying up......I figured out mine and made a really fast...poor quality utube video about it....

Hopefully it's helpful to some.....
