It snowed last night. That might explain the slightly bluish lighting

Received mine yesterday, and I was a little worried as I took the box out of the shipper, as I heard a lot of rattling around inside. Turns out the dessicant packet had ripped open and there were little clear beads rolling around in all the trays. I'm just glad it wasn't something worse, as I had visions of pieces of R2 flying about in there.

Aside from few things others have mentioned (loose lower blue arm, periscope not staying up), everything seems to be in order with him. Overall, I'm pleased!

Funny, but as long as I have waited and pined for R2, it was the most anti-climactic figure opening ever. I just took him out of the box sat him on my desk and that was that

Sure as hell wasn't like opening a Joe figure that could go on for hours, R2 took all of 5 minutes.

Taking pictures wasn't even fun, he's awesome but not exactly a thrilling pose fest to be had

Yep, pretty much a shelf accessory for now BUT this thing is meant to be displayed with CP -- then they'll pop together.

I'm wondering if I need to exchange mine with Sideshow. How consistent is the activation of the lights on everyone else's? Sometimes I just touch the blue panel and the lights come right on. Other times, I can literally touch it 20 or 30 times and nothing happens.

Got mine today Woo hoo! As others have said he is pretty fragile and some of the doors are a little floppy and dont stay closed. The only thing that I'm really not digging is the multi colored light at the back. Someone needs to mod that with fiber optics. That would make this thing totally awesome.
