I see 3PO being closer to a probe droid build than a Vader build though. Vader is a basically a regular body inside a suit, whereas 3PO is a more complex build (again, if done 'right').

Vader is on a brand new body which won't likely be used for anything else. It includes multiple head casts (helmets, masks, face sculpt), all-new soft goods, all new castings for hands, boots, shins, shoulder and chest armor. Two completely unique and again likely non-re-usable bases.

I'm sure manufacturing costs on all those guys is pretty cheap, it's the initial R&D plus tooling that can get very expensive. We'll see how it plays out with R2.

Also looks like he has everything necessary from the Original Trilogy: holographic Leia; scomp link; Echo Base sensor; claw arm; Sail Barge drinks dispenser, tray and pop-up lightsaber.

Can't recall what that other arm on the right hand side was used for.

Really is the all-in-one original trilogy R2.

I think the comments are funny that bash the Tamashii 3po. There really is no better version for that. The only hope is that Sideshow makes a new one that is weathered like this R2 is. As for a clean 3PO there is no better than tamashii... period.

The Tamashii 3PO is nice, but $400 is crazy. And yeah, it's definitely a SSC product.
