Finally got around to buying this guy today with some Christmas money. I couldn't believe it was shipped out already. I should get him around the 26th or so. :whip

Same here.

Bought it off a friend of mine for $70 shipped and received it today.

The head flops like a rag doll and the legs are extremely loose, but posing isn't really a problem somehow. The head stays in place, and I had Indy freestanding for a couple minutes in a mid-stride pose (the back foot resting on the toes).

Here are a few quick pics (plus one we might use on our Indy site to advertise the review when I get around to writing and shooting it).

I finally found the time to inspect my Indy, which I had received last Friday. And, even though the figure and the accessories are very detailed and have an great finishing off, I'm disappointed. I have the same problem with this figure: the head flops like a rag doll and the legs are extremely loose.
I guess, it's more of a Prometheus-body-problem. Indiana just seems to have the bad luck to be on the prometheus body. Getting that for retail plus tax is disappointing.

The Prometheus is actually a very nice body imo. Has a natural stance that the Buck could never hope to duplicate. It's just a shame this particular one experienced such shoddy quality control. It does get tiresome playing Russian roulette with Sideshow.

While I haven't had any time to futz with Indy since I got him on Christmas Eve, that pretty much sums up my impressions of the Pro so far. I haven't tried more extreme action-oriented poses, so that can easily push my opinion further in either direction.

Time will tell on this one.

That's how I feel, good body design, problematic production of it.

Figured i would post pics of my new Indy body. I just got done modifying it a bit. The Sideshow head fits perfect on it and looks pretty acurate to his build in the movie. Ill post pics of the weathers outfit soon and new paint up.

Is that a TrueType with the neck/shoulder moulded?

Yeah its the Will Turner Hot Toys body. It was a bit taller then the Sideshow body so i had to sand down the legs and arms. Then retool them to fit the hands and the Sideshow Indy shoes and pegs. Ill post some pics of the shirt on the body in a few. :gun

Ok here is a quick shot of the shirt on the sculpted neck post. Dont mind the fact he has no pants on!

Good call using the Turner-TT Body!!! I didn't think of that and at one point I had a spare Will Turner too!

I still think Indy looks 100x better on a Truetype...I know people complain about the wide shoulders, but for Indy it works much better than the Prometheus...not to mention the Truetype can actually HOLD poses and not flop around.

Sideshow...can the Prometheus, get rid of it...just use the Truetype...work out some deal with Hot Toys.

My Indy arrived today and I love it. The outfit and accessories are top notch. My only gripes lie with the Prometheus of course. He can hold a pose well enough, but if you give him a little shake his head and waist flop around like a rag doll. Another gripe with the pro that I have is that he really doesn't have any defined shoulders. All that aside I think I can make the pro work, I'm not planning on switching it out. I hope that by the time Snake Eyes is released that they have the pro tightened up.

Excellent idea of using an Hot Toys body with sculpted neck :)
Will look much better with open shirt collar - the little less movement is the only downside, but still the best upgrade body for Indy I think.

And the Icon James Dean cowboy also used the sculpted neck.

If anyone's interested, Triad has their Mayan diorama on sale for #19.99 + shipping. I picked up one for Indy or Lara to use.

Hey Bardoon, I agree with you on all counts. Did you see the pics I posted from ROTLA? Harrison Ford does have wide shoulders.
