Nice pics yerself, Wor-Gar. My Indy's shirt came with the collar turned up too, and it had lots of little loose threads which came off with my wife's manicure (curved) scissors, which are easy to use without having any snip-snip-doh! type accidents. The fabric at the throat just seems to lie flat for me, although on one side the collar has a weird wrinkle from being turned up, which I'll fix later. I got a little crafts iron for things like that. It's a dremel-sized wand with a tiny iron on the end. I figured it was for SERIOUS customizers. Gonna have to be careful not to make his shirt look too crisp though! :D

Another pic of mine messing around outside in the sunlight. It's a little hazy, but I still like it. :D :whip

This one trying to get a shot of his shadow...

Another full figure shot in my driveway in front of a cinder block.

I've "fixed" the shoulder bag. It is now properly under the jacket as in the movies.

Here's the stand without the figure in it...

Another shot in the sand from yesterday. I hope to take more in the sand without Indy's jacket on soon.

I do have a tip for you guys trying to defeat loose joints- this works form me a lot of the time, but not always. Get a spool of thread, best thing is to get either a color that matches the skin or white, so it definitely won't show through any sheer clothing. Just leave a good 5 or 6 inches of thread outside of the joint, and start wrapping the thread around the joint over and over, filling in the gap until the joint is tight. once it gets tight, I take both loose ends and tie it off,so it stays in place. I have mostly used this to tighten joints in limbs, but it might work where the neck meets the body, too. I still may buy an Indy, but I will wait for a cheaper regular edition from an online merchant that I can transplant to a Hot Toys body so he has big shoulders to offset that water head.

Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a try. But, I too want to try out the Hot Toys TT body for my Indy someday soon. I prefer bigger shoulders for my 12" figures. Especially when they have the larger head like this Indy. I love the headsculpts from Trevor Grove, but the head is just a little large for this new Prometheus body. Mine's one of those with the floppy loose joints too.

Nice tip Drizzle. :rock I'll probably end up switching Indy to a TT myself if not for that very reason.

Love the pics Mike! Those outside shots are rad..yeah I said it, rad. So I'm a child of the 80's. What of it? :D

Great repaint! But, aren't the eyes the wrong color? The repaint's are blue. Aren't Ford's eyes more of a green/hazel color? I think the eye color is correct on the Sideshow sculpts of Indy, but it has the goofy "doll dot" that I'm going to remove from mine.

I get you Adam. I'm a "child of the '80s" too. I remember rad, awesome, tubular, etc.

Wow, now I'm really feeling old!

Yeah, I've got a Keanu Reeves headsculpt I'm gonna make a Ted "Theodore" Logan 1:6 scale figure for someday, from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. The first movie. Not the horrible sequel, that I saw anyway, Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey.

Yeah, back to the Indy pics. :whip

Hey Harry, I highly reccomend Tony DiTerlizzi's tutorial over at Rebelscum. When I first started out painting 1/6 scale figures, I had no clue and this helped me immensely! Tony was even gracious enough to answer any questions I had...and I had plenty. Also, check out his awesome work in his gallery there...including his Indy. The guy is a pro...literally, he is a professional artist and co-creator of The Spiderwick Chronicles.

I second the recomendation of practicing on spare heads until you get a feel for things before attempting a repaint of something like Indy.

Billy Ray,

Thank you for the links I'll check them out for sure. :D

Wow! :horror I thought I had a lot of 1:6 scale figures! I have about 30 on display, and another 30 -40 in A/C storage until I get my display room once we move into a house soon.

Awesome link to Tony's work! I'm going to bookmark it and refer back to it when I do repaints, or new paints on heads. Thanks for the link.

Soooo....

Given what I've been reading about the new SS Pro bodies and their loose joints has anyone found another body out there that is totally compatible with this new Indy figures head, hands and feet?
