I think everyone...so far... has agreed that the Hot Toys True Type bodies are the way to go since the joints are tighter, and the Indy heads fit the HT neck post on them. I want to get one to replace my Indy's Prometheus body. I hate the loose waist and neck joints on mine.

I would like to see a pic of the TT body next to the Pro body...just to see the difference is the shoulders.

Honestly, I think the shoulders on mine look fine. I think.

I love that Indy picture! I remember it was one of the first pictures of Indy I saw in Starlog magazine back in 1980 when they were making Raiders. :D

Holy cow do they ever! In fact your entire figure looks exactly like Harrison Ford! :google :naughty

Why are you teasing me? :D

I just mean, Indy in Raiders had sloping shoulders. Here's another:

Even the PF has sloped shoulders. I never think of Indy as a broad-shouldered type. He's always hunched or slouched.

Oh yeah, I remember that pic, thanks IF!

The shoulders are definitely wider on the TT. Looks like the Pro parts (shoes and hands and head) should transfer over nicely enough.

I'll see when someone else does it. If it looks better, I'm all for it. Could then use the Pro for some weak-shouldered character. :D

Ford wasn't very "bulky" in Raiders, it wasn't until TOD that he put on some weight and "beefed up"......So as far as the body goes I think the SS looks more accurate.....

The ONLY reason I'd want to switch is IF the Pro body I get on mine suffers from the same "loose joint" syndrome others seemt to be experiencing.....

I certainly don't want to hassle with trying to get the feet and hands from the SS Indy to fit on another body by having to modify them or buy new boots.

There's got to be another way to get a replacement body that would be totally compatible but would have stiffer joints......

Yeah, that is true that Ford has sloping shoulders. Even in his walk and appearance in real life. He's not the type of guy to puff out his chest, and do the whole "hey, check me out" crap. I noticed that his neck sorta just out from his shoulders too. Hard to explain. I think he may portray Indy with a sort of slouch to his appearance. I guess I'd want to see the HT TT body with the Indy gear on it, and decide for myself too how it looks before changing mine to it. Someone please post here once you've made the change to the TT body so we can all see how it looks. Thanks! :D

I dunno, I think the pro looks about right :p:

The shoulder width looks okay on the Prometheus. The width and slope are more natural looking compared to TT shoulders. But the Prometheus torso length does look abnormally short.

It's an illusion because the TT has the larger midsection. If you look measure from the traps at the neck, to the ankle sockets, they're near identical in length. I also like how Sideshow seemed to solve the problem of the bootylicious TT.

Well from the pic you posted, Harrison Ford has a proportionally longer torso. That is what I was comparing the Prometheus torso to. Sorry of for the confusion, it's late. That may be why some people have commented that Sideshow's pants appear to be riding too high.

OK Guys,
here are some pics of mine, sorry for the lighting and the one pose,
but I was on a hurry,

NOTE: I switched the jacket to a Dragon A2 flight jacket, and though not screen accurate, personally I think it looks much better!
What do you think?

Jacket looks damn good :rock

I like the texture and the hang of that flight jacket. Yeah, too bad it has those fabric cuffs though.

Yeah, I mean, it looks much more natural, and even with the shoulders of the Prometheus, but personally I don't care if it's exactly screen accurate, as long as is looks great on the shelf!!
:D:D
