For sixtus...

One of the things I liked best about RAIDERS was the use of shadows with Indy...

Morning light is nice...

Just picked Indy up from my local shop and I really think people will be happy once they have him in hand. A few terrible, terrible iphone pics. More pics tomorrow when I'm home.

It's a great figure... sure Hot Toys has spoiled us but this really is a very good Indy. People are going to have a lot of fun with this figure. Paint is bit off but he will be blast to repaint.

Jacket has a LOT of potential. Needs to be weathered a bit and maybe some clear acrylic spray could add stiffness and make it easy to shape. I give them big props for the in scale zipper teeth.

The Pro is not a total bust and I think people should play with posing him. There are a lot of oppurtunities. Mine is a little lose but he still stands just fine. The pics don't do him justice and his head is not too big AT ALL. It's in better scale then the PF. Most of the pics we see on line have some kind of distortion. Play with the feet... they can bend forward or sideways depending on how you position them. I also love that Sideshow includes pins for all the hands, unlike including one set like HT.

I cannot wait to see what people so with this figure. We are going to see people customize this guy like crazy and I expect many people on the boards will blow us away.

My neck joint tightened up magically overnight, knee joints too...Can't explain it but no more floppy head. :rock

Somehow I think the Kurgan is to thank for your good fortune :rock :rock :rock

Yes, serving as the "Kurgliere" has its benefits too. :lol

Seriously, I think the plastic expanded overnight in room temps or something. The figure was VERY factory fresh, odorifically so, anyway the joints settled. Wor-Gar said his head wobbled at first too, but he twisted the neck plug around and his settled. Maybe that's what happened, I don't know and now I don't care. :D

The more pictures I see posted the happier I am that I one this piece. Here's a review I wrote for the Bantha Skull site I post on.

The SSC Indy is a great piece and succeeds on many levels , well at least from I can tell w/o opeing it anyhow.
Trevor defiantly captured Harrison Ford in Both Headscuplts and the paint job is pretty good. Some like me will be happy with it the way it is and others may want to repaint it .

Clothing wise I think its a Home Run. The Hat , Jacket Shirt , Pants , Gunbelt, Holster and whip clasp are all top notch and Tailored well. Alot of people were worried about how the Jacket would turn out but it looks great and fits very well on the new Promethias body, which by the way is very well propotioned.

Indy comwe with sets of hands , gloved and natural which also are well scuplted and in proportion with the body.

Accessory wise , SSC always has Medicoms number . The pistols are top notch with the revelor the cynlender is on a hinge and the hammer can be pulled back. On the Browning High Power the clip can be removed from the grip.
It comes with an articulated Whip and coiled whip. Both are well scuplted and have great paint jobs.
The Fretility idle is pretty cool they used the Vacum sealed method like C3-PO figures for the paint job
The Satchel is nice and has a leather strap and the Torch with dart exclusive altough uneccsary are still a nice bonus.

The packaging is the same style as the Star Wars line and same dimesions
as the ones that have the accesory trys.

All and all I'd say this is a home run! At least for a MIB collector like me

You know what Paul, I honestly think mine has too :google

I did water treatment on mine, I wonder if that may have had an effect??????

Either way, he seems to have tightened up a bit

Yeah, I don't get it, Bro. Wor-Gar and I talked about this 2nd day appreciation phenomenon thing. About how the horrors of the first day jitters melt away and the 2nd day the Figure becomes a magical grail piece.

It's still a Mystery to me...

Like Paul and I talked about, I think maybe the joints are tightening due to temp in your home. Perhaps the SS warehouse is cold -- certainly cold at sea when shipped -- so maybe the joints have just expanded a bit in a nice warm house...with lots of warm love. :)
