I just got mine last night. Still have to open it up fully. Is it just me, or was this a weird box design? There are actually two inner boxes that have to be pulled out of an outer sleeve, and I didn't see a window display option. Not that I won't be taking this figure out, but I think some people remain window box collectors and I don't think that's an option for this guy, unless I opened the box the wrong way.

I'm thinking Mesa didn't realize there's a magnet seal holding the box together that you open like a book and just noticed 2 opening flaps at the top and bottom of the box.

errm... This was after coming home after going out last night, so that might have had something to do with it...

I quickly gave up when I figured I was doing something wrong. I will look at it again now that it's a fresh new day.

well what do you know, there it is. The side flap is magnetic and then box unfolds, very clever. I was pulling the trays out while box was still "square".

It's ok, I'm guessing this is your first 1/6 from SSC based on a Lucasfilm property, they get a unique box style from SSC compared to LOTR and the others.

Mesa must not be a SW collector, Sideshow has been using these boxes for a couple years now.

Has anyone got their shipping notice for the regular edition yet? When do you guys think they'll start billing / shipping for those? I'm not getting my hope up that I'll get this guy for thanksgiving

I'm going to have to wait for Christmas to open mine, so pictures will have to do for the month I have to wait.

Everything looks great except for the head size. I'm getting really tired of Sideshow's constant Big-head-itis.

I'm surprised no one's commented yet that they made Indy's hair a more proper shade of brown for Ford than the blacks Han Solo figures have gotten.

they shipped my ex. yesterday late afternoon and I believe I was on one of the last of the ex. to be processed. Someone on the forum earlier said that SS was processing the regular editions yesterday. I would guess that if you're expecting Indy for thanksgiving, SS would need to have processed and shipped your order at the latest by Monday (it takes about 2 business days to ship up to No. Cal.). I hope this helps.
