Sideshow 1/6 ROTLA Toht image thread

Received Toht on Friday and his knee joints, unfortunately, are really loose, especially his left leg. He already face-planted on the curio cabinet glass shelf over night, startling the heck out of me. So he's a bit hard to stand up on his own; I don't like using the figure stands.

Other than that, he's a nice-looking figure. And I love the melty head. I can live with his other minor imperfections. IMO, the glasses don't look all that bad in person.

my toht has been posted from play.com! also ordered some glasses from monkey depot at the same time friday night to go with it. indy was the only one i was gona get until i saw henry snr, now i've ordered that, toht and stuff to kitbash a german indy

Here's a few more pics of my Regular TOHT. - And yes, I know his glasses are wonky in a lot of these shots but... I only noticed this after I downloaded the pictures and as I was thinking about re-doing them, he took a spectacular (sic) shelf dive, shattering a glass on my desk, and the glasses have disappeared!
If any kind freaks who have replaced their glasses with alternate versions want to donate the originals to me, please PM me and I'll give you my address - I hate having incomplete figures, and I just know the next time I see his specs, they'll be attached to the bottom of my shoe and snapped!

Just snagged a Medicom ROTLA Indy for £47 including shipping! Post some picks together when he arrives, might pick up a Medicom "Massive body" to beef him up a bit though...

Great pics, Darthgothikus! Sorry to hear about Toht's accident. I hope his dive wasn't because of weak joints, though. Who knows, maybe losing the glasses is a blessing in disguise! But I know what you mean about wanting "complete" figures. I'm the same way.

I'm still waiting on my Ex, but your pics are relieving a few worries and doubts I've been having!

Just found the glasses down the back of the desk! But I'm still open to collecting all unwanted TOHT specs. I feel I'm offering a service to rid you all of these nasty items (and stockpiling spares for when I loose them again! LOL)

The knees... When I first opened the box I thought they were fine. (in comparison to Cloneobi and Stormtrooper he was much tighter) But having had time to play about I think there is a lot of room for improvement on the Pro body. Granted it hangs lovely, you wouldn't be getting a Buck to look this good. But for the money we're paying, I for one want more.

I'm hoping the V2 alterations take this body a step up. Without another price jump.

Your Belloq was worse than your Indy? My Belloq is very tight while Indy was damn loose (I swapped his body already but the original was bad).

Yep, not to mention the fact that he arrived with his head detached from the body, because the glue on the rubber thing that's supposed to go around the neck joint was not strong enough.

The Ex hasn't even billed yet. I guess they're still waiting on the Ark. So I'd give it a few more weeks before biting any bullets.

I wouldn't give up on the waitlist. I signed up for the Snake Eyes EX. right after is sold out and I got a conversion just a couple of days ago!

I just got confirmation yesterday that my wait list for the Toht exclusive was converted to an actual reservation. Thanks again to everyone who offered advice and possible alternatives.
