Given how the figure went worse from prototype to production... and we're all hoping for the ark to go BETTER... I'm starting to seriously consider cancelling this and hunting down the hasbro one. I was only getting this for the ark... and if that turns out worse than the prototype? urgh... it was bad enough as it was

especially with things like Vader and the Don on order. money matters around here lol

Looking at the backstage pass it doesn't appear any improvements were done to the ark.

It appears to me that the image of the ark is the same one from the proto pics that have been up for ages. I think the jury is still out on the ark...

It looks like there's only one shot of the production Toht in that video. They're all still shots of the prototype.

Do they ever use a production figure in these Backstage Pass videos?? The Lando one used the prototype.

That's my worry. Why promote this backstage pass with Toht already in-hand and not show an improved ark? Just like Darren I pre-ordered this piece with the ark being the draw. From the get go I knew it wasn't accurate but was hoping for some production shots by now.

Well the back stage pass is useless because they showed Toht with the good glasses and not the crappy glasses we are getting so I have no clue what they were thinking.

Is it me or does the girl doing the backstage pass come across as a bit creepy? I thought she was a bit awkward when she did the Lando B.S. pass as well. Anytime they have someone other than Klauder do a backstage pass they seem stiff, unnatural and weird.

It's probably a challenge for her talking about 12" figures or something she may or may know nothing about (besides working for SS). Maybe she's shy but since she's the best looking girl in the office she got the job! She's probably reading off a card also. Who knows?

Had TOHT sitting on my desk for a week and only just got round to opening the box! I'm loving this one.
Nice tight body, hangs well, suit is great.
Take some decent lighted pictures on Monday/Tuesday.

I'll take some better ones in daylight, just need to find the time...
Now I have him in hand I really think the glasses are fine - could be better, but not a deal breaker. (Plus the coathanger is sweet!)

Missmatched skintone is unforgivable in this price range, but can be posed not to be that noticable.

Few loose threads on the shirt I need to trim up, and I'm damned if I'll ever get that collar to lie flat how I want it... But all in all a thumbs up!

Oh, and by the way Jedibear, you are by far the coolest! Nuff said!:chew
