Seriously though, its been almost a month since Toht actually showed up at people's doorsteps right?

What's the hold up SS, I'm getting nervous here, is the ark ok or what?

I'll happily wait but only if the arks fixed. The lack of an update on the ark is making me think theres something wrong and want to switch to the regular also.

I get a sneaking suspicion SS will just fire it off when the Ark's done vs. posting pics of the production sample before a full-scale processing of the exclusives. If that's the case, and it's done to hide a wonky Ark, I'll send mine back and just pick up the regular. I'm content with Hasbro's Ark. If it's anything like Belloq's Ex and they're separate boxes, I don't see why Sideshow doesn't just ship out Toht to us now with an I.O.U. on the Ark.

I hope it's because it's being improved and not that they are hiding it until it ships in the hopes of fewer cancellations.

I wouldn't mind the improvements but in the end it really isn't a big deal to me. I won't notice the inconsistencies and either will anyone else who would come over. I never got a Hasbro one and I do want an Ark. The idol environment came out GREAT so I don't see why this one won't.

My thoughts as well. Even with inconsistencies, the materials used and overall look make it look better than the Hasbro IMO, which looks too 'plastic-y'. I'll be happy with the SS one I'm sure...and it'll look great displayed with Belloq and Toht!

I bought a regular from a local shop and was going to get credit for the exclusive one when it ships but after Vader, Luke & Han Stormtrooper, the Predator, Two-Face coming this week...the Ark no longer seems to be worth it. I have the exclusive Bellosh and I dig the chamber but I think the Hasblow Ark is the way to go for me. Man that was a run-on sentence. The SSC Ark better be all kinds of "it's beautiful" when I see it otherwise its gettin' the ax.

I wound up picking up a few of Hasbro's Arks. While they're plastic, the shine Hasbro managed to get and the look, while not 100% accurate, is just incredible. Especially for something that's essentially free. That said, it'll be a shame if it's not completely usurped by Sideshow's "high end collectible" Ark. If their Ark comes out less than stellar, with all the other issues this line has seen, from a Ricardo Montalban Belloq to passing on releasing a Sallah or Marion, I might actually dump being a completist of this line .

I just couldn't bring myself to buy, what was it, three of the Hasbro 12" figures to get that ark....so when Sideshow announced they were producing the ark. I thought "Great!"

Sure hope this piece is amazing when we finally see it...really like the "Idol" environment that came with Belloq so...I confident the ark will be a stunner...
