Broke down and cancelled my preorder. The closer it got to shipping, the less I wanted a 1/5th scale. I think I am going to wait until the Wolf LSF starts shipping to check for quality and then buy that...or maybe, just maybe, we will get a new 1/4th Classic Predator to go with Dutch.

Yea I think I might need to cancel this guy too, His pose just doesnt do a whole lot for me, plus, hes 1/5 and id way rather throw the cash in wolfs direction

Damn shame to see the cancels. I want to see as many in hand picture as possible! And i am quite happy it is SS 1:5 as it probably means its real world 1:6

A few years ago I would have snatched this and the Elder statues right quick. With the NRD and the ever increasing prices I can't do that any more. Add to that the possibility of a 1/4 figure (which is where my heart for collecting truly lies) I'll wait and let this go.

i am keeping this for sure, 1/5 be damned this thing is as big as some pf at 20" tall and with one of the most unique poses holding out a bloody skull taunting you, instead of the generic predator statue poses, and comes with both heads + bloody skull for ex, $300 for all that is not bad all things considered.

does anyone know if this will be in scale with 1/5 big chap alien that's coming out? i want to have them face each other. i find the most confusing part about collecting alien/predator are all the scales, NONE of them seem to be in the same **** scale.

The Giger and Warrior will most likely be the same size as the Res and Doggy..which is a bit smaller than 1/6 scale.

Is the 87 classic 1/5 predator the same scale as the big chap 1/5 alien, this guy:

That Big Chap statue isn't 1/5. It's 1/6 (or as Lar'ja said, a little smaller than that).

okie thanks, so basically you have 1/5 preds, <1/6 aliens, 1/4 pred maquette, 1/3 cm pred, 1/3 alien big chap, and <1/4 alien warrior maquette.

so the only thing that is in scale are the 1/3 alien + pred, but then the dutch pf is 1/4

Got A HT predator and sold them all i am not happy with figures, There where awesome but i prefer statue. The only figure that a have is Neca 1/4 scale figure. If SSC will release a 1/4 that will be awesome BUT for now i am happy with these Predators i rather get this one than the palisades predator or recast one

Since, I got Elder coming, I went ahead and plunked down some points to knock the price down a bit on this guy. They should look pretty awesome together.

Thats what I'm thinking too, but I haven't preordered Elder just yet.

Yeah I really like these 1/5 scale, I mean sure PFs would be awesome, but at 1/5 it allows me a little more space to work with when displaying these pieces. Also if they do P2 at this scale I'll be set.

I'm new to collecting and have just ordered the Predator and Iron Man mark 6 legendary scale busts and want to get in to a line of statues that are of similar scale to display next to the LSB's. Do you guys think we will see a lot of 1/5 scale statues in the future? I would definately look at getting the Predator 2, Darth Vader, Stormtrooper and Boba Fett legendary busts and really like the look of this statue but don't want to get statues that are all over the place in scale.

I love the look of the premium Stormtrooper figure but at only half an inch smaller than the 1/5 Pred my OCD will kick in.

I've been, for the most part, collecting alien franchise statues, busts and maquettes over the years (my main obsession) but I'm thinking of making the ex of this statue my first entry into the predator world. I figured I'd start with a nice size statue of the classic predator at a somewhat reasonable price point. Any thoughts?
