People have complained about the netting/painting of netting. I can agree, but I still think it is a pretty good representation of P1 for the price.

I've always though going over it with a Sharpie could be an easy fix.

quick fix yeah, bit shiny though and not perfect by any means. If I had the patience and talent I'd file off the netting and add the real thing on the ones I have.

I made a base to display the spare portrait of my Wolf last night.
First attempt at sculpting anything.
Hope I don't need to make one for the maquette

Not too bad Matt.
Got a few pictures of the Wolf LSB stand for ideas but that was far to elaborate
Just done a small one which is looking ok. Need to decide if to try and add a bit of detail with a dremil or just paint it up black to blend in with the Besta.

Didn't want to leave a portrait in the box as I like to swap the display but these things are a nightnare to store with the fragile dreads sticking out.

Simple is fine, Mr Winston himself didn't feel the need to make anything too elaborate and it does its job just fine

Plasticine 'proto' and first attempt...

Need to remove the wax, sand the top then decide if to paint it up black or silver and debate whether it's worth adding any detail, probably not for the size.
Might have another go as it's not perfectly symmetrical.
