I agree. Not sure why Hot Toys is more timely while SS rarely is.

The initial excitement for this is long dead... Especially with nothing but unfortunate feedback from SSC.

For me it has totally died off. Negative hype for the movie+long protracted wait for the proto=BLAHHHHHHHHHHHH

However for others still waiting for another 1/4 Spidey PF this could be an amazing piece.

Should've gone up for PO two months ago. Also with the fact that they might not be showing it at SDCC sucks as well

Absolutely terrible timing. I'm was a huge fan of the movie, and even SS is losing my hype. Better see a preview sooner than later.

The fact that they take this long between announcements and previews is silly. Obviously if it's taking a while to develop then fine. But not showing some previews of the in progress sculpt or something in the mean time is just stupid.

I might be wrong but I think this thing is going to end up looking like a doll with it's 100% fabric suit covering the entire statue from head to toes...

Nah with the way the comis are, I doubt they would attempt a full PJ attempt. I don't know too much, but is the Wolverine LSF all mix media? If so that would be a shame. I'm cool if it's a doll but it better not ****ing cost more than 275.

Not going to lie, this is kind of dead to me. The length of time between need had convinced me the idea isn't working or they aren't completely happy with it.

That means I'm going to go into the reveal expecting not greatness.

I guess we'll see though. I would love to eat my words hahaha

The Thor TDW reveal was what 9 Months after the Theatrical release. The way this one is going it MAY be ready for SDCC 2015. I am going to agree with Savage... I saw AS2 and it was better that the first. I'm fact though the pacing sucked I kind of liked it. However any kind of buzz this would have had is gone... I can't believe they didn't have this ready for at least the BluRay announcement.

I can't believe they didn't have this ready for at least the BluRay announcement.

Yeah. I have to be honest, I love SSC's work. But with this delay, I've lost interest and I'm more excited to see what an XM Spidey would look like. (Even if I can't afford it haha)

But again, I hope sideshow proves me wrong.

I love ASM2, probably because I always loved Gwen over MJ. Still a great one though. But yeah the hype is dying. I mean games take longer than some of these statues, and yet they manage to come out with the hype. And they have to deal with the same representative and etc. Hopefully he is amazing and I can just eat my words and order him.

****! Totally never considered the swinging pose. Actually I'd like one more like this:

My problem with one like this is that he would be hunching and honestly that kills a lot of the statue for me. But still cool.

Also I won't be dipping into XM unless it really wows me. I have been close to ordering Phoenix and Widow, and I have to say it's mostly the hype that got me. Unless they make an absolutely stunning Black Cat and a Spidey that isn't cliche, you can bet I'll consider it. But a pass for me.

I think him in a similar pose to daredevil, running to sprint off a rooftop would be awesome. Maybe with the lead hand pointing about to shoot the web?

Guys, the pose was released ages ago when the statue was announced...I think it looks great!
