Well they have said that it is suppose to be a full fabric costume with a sculpted portrait. However, with that type of skin tight outfit and the dynamic pose Igo has been hinting at, and I am betting they were going to use PVC for the body like they did MOS and the Christopher Reeve Superman. In the end I hope they are making sure they hit this out of the park, but then again if they are doing another "comic" Spiderman PF this might be a mute point.

The ball was definitely dropped on this one, IMO.

It will sell regardless, but not sure if I'll bite on this one because of lapse in time between movie release, etc. And if there's an open edition, that'll be icing on the cake for postponing my decision.

not if it's made out of PVC and priced at $450 with a God knows how large ES. I don't have a Spidey statue anymore, so I'd still be interested if it's a quality piece.

I asked a while ago why do they even bother making product announcements for products they have no idea will come out.

The response was they do the reveals when they think they have the time locked in, but then things happen.

ASM2 PF, Gaurdians, Hobbit, Arkham PFs, Alien Queen Dio, Cable PF, Spider-Man Noir, Anti-Venom, Mara Jade, Iron Man Extremis , Wolverine vs. Hulk Dio... you'd think they've gone through enough hiatus and cancellations to know better when something is far along enough to tell us it's coming. They deal with licensing approvals so yeah, things will happen, but the constant Product Reveals and no product showing up until years or not at all is played out.

Hopefully the new comic Spidey PF, whatever costume he's in, will be a winner and actually happen unlike this one. And then there's the XM...

I have a feeling the Arkham PFs are coming but they're waiting for the Keaton Batman to ship before announcing them for PO. The put the Keaton bats out before thr comic one even shipped and the EX still hasn't sold out. You can over saturate the market with too much of one character in a short period of time.
