I think it's both...SS Alex is usually pretty reliable so I wouldn't dismiss her saying they're making 1/6...however I'm assuming this Igo also works for SS which makes him/her a reputable source as well.

So I wonder if this means Sideshow got the license away from Hot Toys or if there will be two competing lines. I hope it's the former. Having two lines in slightly different scales will be a major pain in the @$$ unless the price points are vastly different. Plus HT has so many licenses that they need to focus on. However I suppose it could also be one of these collaboration deals between the two companies, which would be fine as well.
Have HT and SS collaborated on a project before? I've only been collecting for about 2 years and don't recall anything like that happening in that time period.

Yeah, I think the DX Bespin Luke Skywalker figures were.
Igo also stated over at SF that only two 1/4 pieces in this line are a go with a possible third piece planned. He clearly stated not to get our hopes up as far as collecting a lot of characters in this line. You figure Bats and Joker are definitely 2 of the 3 characters chosen given their popularity and roles in both games. I wonder who the third character may be? I was really hoping for another villain over the Joker. I'd love to see a Ra's al Ghul, Two-Face, Scarecrow, or Mr Freeze before Joker. I especially love the character designs of those villains in the games. I would actually love an AC Ra's over a classic Ra's PF. I think Ra's looked great in AC. Either way, it looks like our choices are going to be very limited in this license as far as 1/4 scale statues are concerned.

Killer Kroc, Scarecrow, Solomon Grundy, or Ras would be great. Kroc and Grundy would be huge imposing statues.
I would really dig Robin from this line. I thought he looked awesome in Arkham City

Well it's more of lending HT the license vs collaborating on the actual product itself. But yes, Bespin Luke and DX Indy (and Terminator2 at least when the MMS version were being released) were times that SS shared the license with HT
If there's only 3 PFs (not surprised...comic PFs will always get more attention, fine by me), I bet one of them will be a larger character. I don't think they'd pass up the opportunity to make one of the bigger guys, their designs are wild.

Honestly, I'd say a Clayface would be a badass, and they'd probably never have to revisit the character because his game look was so versatile.
