Dang... Was really thinking about ordering this but the constant delays have me thinking this is likely a problematic release.

Have to await final product pics at this point.

delays don't mean problematic, it just means scheduling production issues

Its the production issues that I am getting at. Delay after delay after delay means things aren't going to plan. That worries me when it comes to Sideshow.

I will say that I am tired of Sideshow's long wait time for their figures.It used to be 9 months, now it's a year and a half wait time. A good way for people to lose interest on things

Agreed! I think they are too hasty with the reveals- Especially on stuff that isn't really time sensitive anyway. Stuff for current films? Yeah, I get that you want it out and solicited while a film is in theaters.

But Evil Dead 2 is 30 years old. You couldn't wait until the product was a bit further along in development before putting the order up? That way the wait for release isn't quite as ridiculous.

I can see that with hype backed figures like recent Marvel and DC movie figures, but not on a classic property.

Beetlejuice came out pretty good on the whole, which does give me a bit of hope here. Hopefully this has the little oomph he was missing - I would love to add Ash to the collection, the NECA figures are some of my favorites in that scale.
