Yeah, the airborne is similar and I definitely want him so I'm gonna pass on this guy too. If he was outstanding I might have double-dipped.

Quite a few disappointments. The piece of leather strapped onto the chest armour is positioned too low, and its not adjustable.

It's funny...in one thread, folks are praising SSCs for having better paint apps. In this thread there's clear evidence that they are still dropping the ball in some areas of paint applications. That Kama looks like ca ca. Hope it's not as obvious in person.

I think it might just be the photos. Same time, I am surprised at how poorly his Kama was 'weathered' - looks like ____ and really amateurish. Wish they'd just stop with the weathering altogether except on figures where it makes sense, like Boba Fett or a Sandtrooper.

Looks good from the front which is how he'll forever be displayed so I won't lose any sleep over the poor kama paint job.

Agreed that he'd really never be displayed with the back of the kama showing but the point is the final product shouldn't have that flaw in the first place (as opposed to being grateful that it's easy to hide).

In all honesty, Sideshow did a perfect job for an accurate helmet but overall not their best effort.

Not gonna lie, pics are disappointing me.

Think I'll wait. If they come out with a Galactic Marine I may have to revisit getting this, but until then my wallet is safe I think.

I'm not judging the figure til it's out of the box in front of me...I remember a lot of folks expressing disappointment in Gree based on early in-hand shots and I think he's pretty damned good (just posted some new shots of him over here) :

I'm pretty sure Bacara's gonna turn out just fine and end up having some cool pics in here. Can't wait to see 'em (and take a few of my own)...

I'd like to see what some of the tinkerers and futzzers do with this as well. Sometimes figures look alot different after people spit and polish them.
