It's just odd that they had to glue the thing down. If you're going to do that, at least glue it on the right way. :(

I take it the people at the factory who had that task weren't using a reference or template. :p

Feel bad for you guys, such an awesome figure to have something so silly go wrong. :(

Without getting into it again like in the Boba thread, you see how it's ridiculous to even have to go thru what these guys are going thru? Completely unacceptable of Sideshow...again. These guys are getting lazy and they need to know that people are not happy in the direction they're going.

On that note, mine wasn't glued and I just posed him with his rifle up so it sort of covers that chest pad.

Ok what did I miss? What glue? Other then the tight body suit and big head(not a problem) what have I missed?

To accomplish this, you would have had to completely not made this post.:)

Well, I decided to open my Bacara. Turns out, since he is suspended in the box by the styrofoam, and is sealed in plastic, The box and figure are just fine.

And, FWIW, my holster is in the center of his chest.

I just got my Bacara yesterday and havent even opened him yet. I'll do some inspecting on him today when I get some down time to actually sit and fiddle with him.

So it's been a few days since I've had him in-hand and the chest pad thing doesn't bother me anymore. I just pulled it to the top right and it pretty much stays in place. But as awesome as he is, it's time to get a Phase I helmet commissioned because I think it just happends to look way more awesome.

That is bigger then the one I got :(

Just a warning...the rifle is very weak at the single narrow point in the middle and it was obviously molded in two pieces. Mine was unfortunately broken upon delivery (at that center junction).

Thought about just trying to glue it, but these are too expensive to roll over and accept poor production and such subpar packaging.

At any rate, just keep that weak point in mind when working with the long rifle as it obviously won't take much to break in two.

Wow..I've got multiple clones with that rile and have never had one break. Even dropped a few on a hard wood floor. :dunno
