Just a warning...the rifle is very weak at the single narrow point in the middle and it was obviously molded in two pieces. Mine was unfortunately broken upon delivery (at that center junction).

Thought about just trying to glue it, but these are too expensive to roll over and accept poor production and such subpar packaging.

At any rate, just keep that weak point in mind when working with the long rifle as it obviously won't take much to break in two.

Wow..I've got multiple clones with that rile and have never had one break. Even dropped a few on a hard wood floor. :dunno

Yeah, I've never had any problems with them, but I think if you call SS, they'll make it right.

Same here. First I've heard of there being a problem, but I'm sure one example is sufficient to pass judgement on the entire operation.

:cuckoo:

Nice first post, by the way. Unfortunately, the Star Wars section isn't like it used to be. There are bullies here now that insist on it being an enjoyable place to post.

Bullies? Then I say we take the board back!

I for one am very please with how Bacara turned out. No problems with mine, I still love Sideshow. Price is getting a little steep, but I still think they make great products.

After I made my post I check on my long guns. I have no idea what your talking about. The gun looks to be on mold, I can see where it could brake but you would have to do it yourself. If they pushed to hard to put it in the shipping holder the person would have seen it and just put another one in there.

BTW Welcome to the board, I own 49 SS/HT items and only had problems with just one (also the only two items not order from my SS person).

Great shots, ATCollector....glad the chest patch was correctly placed on the one you received. Got mine today and no such luck...it was positioned right smack in the middle of the chest.

It's an easy fix though...I just carefully peeled the glued strap end apart (it's fairly easy with care, even for my big mitts)and moved the black piece up further on the chest, then put the end of the strap in the slot, fastened it back with a bit of tack and it looks much better. A little further "futzing" than usual there, but certainly better than sending the figure back over something that is most likely the same on most of them...

First impressions....looks great! Tight body, except hands-n-feet on this one a bit loose....it just varies from figure to figure I guess. Detailing's well-done, kama looks fine. "Running" feet are a bit darker than the regular ones...so I'll probably stick with the standard ones for display. The helmet is really cool! Use care on that fine, thin antennae when positioning it though...nice to see the kama straps are longer than the ones on Bly...they hang better.

Glad I got him...one step closer to a complete "Order 66" set...

Here's one quick shot...tried to capture a bit of "Mygeeto" attitude here...

I wasn't singling you out. No one until today has posted a pic with the chest pad in the correct place.

And I am honestly pleased by your happiness with the figure, correctly dressed or not.

Cheers!

:peace
