Nice pic Drakul, I just got mine before and I love it. SS did a really good job with this one, my only complaint is that the base seems really light and cheap

It's wierd I hear peep's on here saying the base is light. That's normaly the one thing guaranteed to have a bit of weight.

All I can really say is wow. This thing is unbelievable. I have never seen anything like it. I can't even believe that they make collectables of this quality, it is ridiculous. I am staring at it right now and really can't stop. Like ever one says the scale is what really gets you.

A few minor issues. There is a paint chip on the black neck collar on the merc head and the knife on the leg was out of the sheath when it arrived cause the strap on the top of it is broke. I'll see if i can fix it. I'll also email side show about each issue. Happy to say that the paint and sculpt is absolutely perfect looks just like the pics on the website. Great stuff for sure.

Still having said that it really doesn't bother me I am just in awe of this thing. Truly something special. Being my first piece I didn't know what to expect. It is really heavy. Even the base which people were saying was light seemed heavy to me.

I could go on and on. It is truly an amazing piece.

Congrats AB... Get pics up soon m8, and get that email in to SSC pronto... That or call them so they still have replacement parts.

I am so glad that ou are happy with this. SSC pics are amazing works of art, and their scale is MASSIVE!!!:hi5: Now, when Batman arrives the extra 6 inches in height is going to blow you away...lol.

Got it this morning and just opened it. It's now among my favourite statues, he's awesome, dare i say perfect.

Only con is that both heads and heands are so awesome i'ts hard to have just one display :lol

I know its hard for me to comment as i have never seen any other piece but other bases must be amazing cause I thought Deadpools base was awesome. As far as the weight I thought the base was heavy can't imagine needing more weight to it. Thankfully the statue itself is very heavy or at least it is to me.

Thanks Spidey. I can never figure out how to post pics but I have never really tried that hard so when I have sometime I'LL give it a shot.

I emailed SS about the minor issues last night so hopefully i hear back soon.

Congrats AB. If the scale surprised you I would love you to see the hulk maquette in person :lol

Super pics drakul. Is that the reg you have?

Thanks! Yeah I got the reg, I wanted to make sure I didn't miss out.

It's a great piece and I agree the base is a bit light, mine was almost concave and I can hear something loos in it but 'eh'

Deadpool's base has a great design but it's is one of the lightest I've had. You'll see when you get more statues, the heavy base usually gives more stability to the statue especially the ones with crazy action poses.
Hell on the Mythos Obi-Wan's cape alone could tip the statue :p

Thanks bud. It really is awesome. Still really can't beleive how good it is.

I know exactly what you mean. When I got my first pf years ago (Buffy red pants) I was in true amazement. I had never seen anything like it and I never imagined its scale. I had only the 12" before. Even though I'll be receiving pf #22 today (Jason Voorhees) I know it will still blow me away. These pieces never get redundant.

As for the bases, they range from light to heavy. Some like Red Skull's are super heavy and some like Hitman' s are super light.

Mine is concave. It doesn't come across well in pictures, but here are a few shots of what I mean:

I am hoping to get a replacement from Sideshow. It really is quite noticeable in person because you can see a wave in the central red line of the logo...really annoying.

I can totally see what you are talking about in these pics bud. Did you hear anything back yet?

Nope. they said it could take 3 to 5 business days before I hear back...it's only been one. I'm hoping it doesn't take that long, though...I don't want them to run out of bases before they get to my request!!

The base also has quite a few scratches on it. I could probably live with the scratches (you can only see them at certain angles and in certain light), but coupled with the dent...I want a new one!

Don't get me wrong, I love the base I was just surprised how light it is, almost feels like plastic.
But in the end as long as it looks good I'm happy

Just opened it this morning. Couple of scuffles on the base but not a big deal. Didn't really have time to inspect it but it looks really good.

I am sure you'll be fine. This just came out. I emailed them about some issues I had as well so we'll see. To me there minor though I know some on here would be losing there minds about them lol. The piece itself is amazing I got a perfect one as far as paint and sculpt and my base is awesome I think it's fantastic.

I stared at this thing again this morning before I had to go to work. Showed it to my daughters this morning and they loved it especially the chicken.

It's worth a try. Though you'll probably get the generic answer "each piece is hand painted yatta yatta yatta After checking our inventory we don't have a replacement that will be better than what you already have".

It's a minor flaw.

The thing about it is your issue for a replacement would require an entire body. They don't just swap em. They'd require you to destroy the piece you already have if they were going to send you a replacement and I don't see them asking you to do that with a minor paint flaw. I think you'll be offered partial cash refund or SS credit if you choose to keep it or return for full refund if you're not satisfied.

Wrong. This isn't a minor paint flaw, and I'm not being too picky. The pictures might not highlight it the best, but you can see it clear as day without having to inspect it. The rest of the torso looks like a matte black with these spots sticking out. After removing the protective insert that comes between his harness and torso there's a noticeable amount of paint on it. It's almost like they packaged it before it was fully dried.

Weird .... I just went to Sideshow as I am debating buying the EX from another member or just the Reg edition from sideshow. When I searched Deadpool somehow I got on the waitlist..... Did they open up the waitlist on this guy?

Thanks laudel. Yeah I can only imagine how big a larger figure like hulk would be. I have to really think about how I order from now on. These take up alot of space.

The EX has been sold out since last year with a waitlist option. I just checked the reg is still in stock. I can't see there being much point in going on the ex waitlist for this, not much chance of a conversion now.
