Wow, you're right. I never knew Vader's hilt changed so much during the course of the OT. I mean, the basic construction is still the same, but proportions are all over the place. And what's with the rings on the shaft of the ROTJ one?

To a small percentage of people involved in this hobby. 100% of people not in this hobby will not notice, and more importantly, will not care.

Those be looking like hex-drive bolts to me (driven with an allen head bit, not a socket of course).

but it does make me wonder what ssc would have to bring to a 3rd vader (if ever) to top previous versions.

Too much hair. Vader doesn't have pigtails in either ESB or ROTJ. Sideshow can't get anything right.
